DERS Correction

This document describes the Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS), a self-report measure used to assess difficulties regulating emotions. The DERS contains 28 items rated on a 5-point Likert scale from "almost never" to "almost always". The items assess 6 subscales of emotional regulation: clarity, attention, acceptance, ability to engage in goal-directed behavior, ability to control impulses, and ability to use adaptive emotion regulation strategies. Higher scores indicate greater difficulties with emotional regulation.
