Combined Footing

This document summarizes the design of a combined footing to support two columns. The larger column 1 has a load of 3600 KN and the smaller column 2 has a load of 1500 KN. The footing is designed with a reinforced concrete section on top of a plain concrete base. The footing is 5 meters long, 3.4 meters wide, and 1.2 meters deep with required reinforcing bars specified. Punching shear and bending moment checks were performed to verify the design.
