INSTALLATIONS & DECOMMISSIONS WORKS HSE SITE GUIDELINES

Tower sites are dangerous places to work. These site safety health & environment rules are the minimum
requirements and will help to create a safe working environment within the tower site.

Always wear the prescribed PPE on site

▪ PPE is your last line of defense should you encounter a hazard on site. Wear your hard hat, safety boots,
work suit, safety goggles, gloves and Hi-Viz vest as a minimum, along with any additional PPE required for
the task being carried out.
Do not start work without an induction
▪ Each site has its own unique hazards and work operations, make sure you know what is happening so that
you work safely. Your induction is important, do not start without one.
Keep a tidy site
▪ Remember to keep your work area tidy throughout your shift to reduce the number of slip and trip hazards.
Pay particular attention to high-risk areas such as access and escape routes.
