ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE

Active Voice: The subject is performing an action.

Ex: The dog chases the ball.

Passive Voice: The action’s target is positioned first as the focus of the sentence. The verb acts upon
the subject.

Ex: The ball is being chased by the dog.

1. Change the following sentences from active voice to passive voice.

i) Children like sweets.
