Spane Scale of Positive and Negative Experience Assessment

The Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) is a 12-item survey that measures positive and negative feelings over the past 4 weeks. Respondents indicate how often they experienced feelings like positive, negative, good, bad, pleasant, and unpleasant on a 5-point scale from very rarely/never to very often/always. The survey was developed by Diener et al. in 2009 to measure well-being through positive and negative feelings.
