GENERAL
1.1
Vulcanized elastomer mixtures suitable for items preferably without fabric insert, working at high temper-
atures and in contact with cooling water or fluids.
1.2
Application
Sleeves, also without fabric reinforcement, washers, gaskets, rings, plugs, etc.
1.3
Service temperature
---40 to 140 ° C intermittently, up to +150 ° C max.
1.4
Basic elastomer (for information only)
EPDM PEROX, EAM.

¡ These rubbers may be requested with additional characteristics (e.g. wear resistance, dielectric properties, etc.);
in this case the standard symbol on drawing shall be followed by the suffix corresponding to the required cha-
racteristcs, as per Std. Sh. 55031.
In particular, if higher resistance to low temperatures is prescribed, the required brittleness temperature value
shall be indicated on drawing.
© Permissible tolerances for part acceptance are as specified in Std. Sh. 50404/01.
¢ The IRHD (International Rubber Hardness Degrees) values correspond practically to the shore A hardness va-
lues (See Std. Sh. 50411).
£ Values obtained on linear specimens (lengthwise on tubular shapes).
¤ A minimum tearing of 30 N/mm (3 kg/cm) is allowed for extruded parts.
¥ In air at 120 ˚C for 70 h.
§ 100% in “Paraflù 11” fluid (Std. 55523/01).
¨ Used exceptionally .
