INTRODUCTION
Fire incidents can happen anytime and anywhere, posing a significant threat
to the safety and well-being of individuals. This is where the role of a fire volunteer
brigade becomes indispensable. Criminology students possess a unique skill set that
can be harnessed to combat fires and assist in emergency situations. Their knowledge
of criminal behavior, investigative techniques, and understanding of human psychology
can prove invaluable in identifying the causes and origins of fires.

According to Wrona S. (2020) as she stated that fire Volunteer Brigades are
largely active at the local level, they are an organizational form of a self-organizing
society. They develop and gain from social capital; and they work for several social
goals. Volunteer fire departments' operations are a direct outcome of both their legal
requirements and the principles that all firefighters uphold.

Fire volunteer brigades are composed of trained individuals who possess the
necessary skills to handle fire incidents efficiently. They undergo rigorous training
programs that equip them with knowledge about fire prevention, evacuation procedures,
and first aid techniques. With their expertise, they can effectively respond to
emergencies promptly, minimizing potential damages and ensuring the safety of
everyone involved. Moreover, having a dedicated team solely focused on fire safety
allows criminology students to concentrate on their studies without worrying about their
well-being during potential fire incidents. Knowing that there is a reliable group ready to
assist them in times of need provides peace of mind and creates a conducive learning
environment. Additionally, fire volunteer brigades play a vital role in raising awareness
about fire safety among criminology students. They conduct regular drills and
workshops that educate individuals on preventive measures such as proper handling of
electrical appliances, safe storage practices for flammable materials, and efficient
evacuation strategies. By instilling this knowledge within the student community, they
contribute towards creating a culture of safety consciousness.

incidents cannot be overstated. Their presence ensures prompt response during
emergencies while also fostering awareness among criminology students regarding
preventive measures. By harnessing these qualities within the context of firefighting
operations, It can enhance the emergency response capabilities while providing
valuable training opportunities for aspiring law enforcement professionals. Therefore, it
is imperative for educational institutions to recognize the significance of these brigades
and provide support for their continued operation. Criminology students who aspire to
work in law enforcement or emergency services can benefit from understanding the
importance of fire volunteer brigades. They can learn about the role of these brigades in
maintaining public safety and how they work with other emergency services to respond
to crises. Additionally, they can gain insight into the challenges faced by these brigades,
such as inadequate infrastructure and equipment, and how these challenges can be
