ACCOMPLISHMENT
REPORT
The Joint BSP (Boyscaout of the Philippines) and GSP (Girl Scouts of the
Philippines) School-Based Encampment held on 13th to 15th was a remarkable and
unforgettable event that brought together young scouts from different troops within the
school community. The encampment aimed to foster camaraderie, instill values, and enhance
the scouting skills of the participants. The event took place at the school’s campsite, which
had been specially prepared for this ocassion.
Participants gathered at the campsite with a sense of enthusiam and excitement. Tents
were set-up, and the campsite came aliove with the chatter scouts.
As the sun set, scouts carried torches in a solemn parade around the school and
community, symbolizing unity and the spirit of scouting. Since the last encampment many
years ago, parents were present and happily watches their young ones participating on the
said event. They were also excited and very supportive on this activity.
The day concluded with an engaging opening program that included inbspiring
speeches and performances. The highlight was the lighting of the campfire, which served as a
beacon of light and warmth throughout the encampment.
An early morning exercise or Zumba session invigorated everyone, setting the tone
for an active day ahead.
6:30-7:30 am – Parade
Scouts marched in unity, showcasing discipline and teamwork, during the morning
parade.

The obstacle course tested the physical and mental strenght of the participants. It was
a challenging yet fun activity that encouraged teamwork and problem-solving. Every
participants enjoyed the game, had their unity and competitive to their opponents to win the
game. The had so much fun!
Participants had the opportunity to learn about and appreciate indegenous cooking
methods, using traditional ingredients to prepare locall dishes. Their patrol leader assigned
his/her members, each them has its own task to be able to performed the said activity.
During this segment, scouts rotated through various stations, each providing a
different scouting experience. These stations included knot-tying, first aid, outdoor survival,
and more.
7:00 pm onwards – Program (Search for Mr. BSP & Ms. GSP 2023)
The evening program was a culmination of the day’s activities. It featured talent
showcases and competitions to select Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP 2023. The scouts displayed their
talents and creativity, further strengthening the bonds of friendship.
The Search for Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP 2023 was a vibrant and entertaining event that
showcased the talents and personalities of the candidates from the Boy Scouts of the
Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP). The event, held at [Insert
Venue], was organized to promote unity and camaraderie among scouts and to find the most
outstanding representatives of the scouting community.
The event commenced with a heartfelt prayer, delivered by Julie Ann Colongon,
invoking blessings and guidance for the evening's activities.
The solemnity of the occasion was highlighted as everyone stood in respect for the
national anthem, which was played from a recorded source.

The board of judges was introduced, a panel of esteemed individuals tasked with the
challenging job of selecting Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP 2023. Their role was crucial in ensuring a
fair and unbiased evaluation of the candidates.
The candidates graced the stage with an exciting and coordinated production number,
setting the stage for a night of entertainment and competition.
The scouts' enthusiasm was expressed through lively cheers, or "yells," which
energized the crowd. The Roses and Shark patrols enthusiastically chanted their respective
cheers.
In their Pangabuhian attire, the candidates showcased their cultural roots and
traditions, adding a touch of local flavor to the competition.
Once again, the energy and team spirit of the scouts were evident as the Tulips and
Bangus patrols presented their cheers.
The Lotus and Tuna patrols, as well as those in GSP and BSP uniforms, added
excitement with their cheers, symbolizing unity and pride in their respective organizations.
The cheers of the Sunflower and Mamsa patrols filled the venue with enthusiasm and joy.

The scouts who excelled in various categories were recognized and awarded minor
awards for their outstanding performances.
The most awaited moment arrived when the winners of Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP 2023
were announced. These candidates had proven themselves to be true representatives of the
scouting community.
The event concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Mrs. Mary Rose F. Pahit,
acknowledging the success of the Search for Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP 2023 and expressing
gratitude to all who contributed to its success.
The festivities continued as Rizalyn G. Ocampo took the role of emcee for the dance
segment, bringing the participants and audience together in a joyous celebration of music and
dance. The event was filled with exuberance as the scouts displayed their talents on the dance
floor.
The Search for Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP 2023 was a memorable occasion that not only
celebrated the scouting spirit but also showcased the diverse talents and skills of the
candidates. It served as a platform to promote unity and teamwork among scouts, and it will
be remembered as a night of fun, camaraderie, and entertainment.
A heavy rain came in the morning, this is the reason why this activty was not able
conducted.
4:50-5:00 am –Zumba
Anothe invigorating Zumba session set the mood for the final day of the encampment.

The morning featured lighthearted parlor games, which brought laughter and joy to
the participants as they demonstrated their skills in a more relaxed setting.
10:00-12:00 pm Lunch
A hearty meal was enjoyed by all, a time for camaraderie and sharing stories of their
experiences during the encampment.
The Joint BSP and GSP School-Based Encampment was an incredible journey filled
with learning, teamwork, and lasting friendships. It provided an unforgettable experience for
scouts to grow, both as individuals and as members of a greater scouting community. The
event's success was a testament to the dedication of the scouts, leaders, and organizers who
worked together to make it a memorable and enriching experience.

Under the open sky, surrounded by the natural beauty of the campsite, a unique
culinary adventure was about to unfold. Participants embarked on a journey to explore
and appreciate the rich heritage of traditional cooking methods and local ingredients. It
began with a sense of excitement and curiosity. Participants, grouped into patrols,
gathered around the open cooking area, each with their own designated cooking pit. The
focal point of this adventure was the traditional fire pit, where logs and firewood were
carefully arranged, and a fire was kindled. The warmth of the fire, along with the aroma
of wood smoke, set the stage for the indigenous cooking experience.

With the gentle lapping of the waves and the salty sea breeze in the air, a group of
dedicated Girl Scouts gathered at the shoreline to partake in a meaningful and eco-conscious
endeavor: the Girl Scout Coastal Clean-up.
The clean-up was not just about picking up trash; it was a symbolic gesture of
stewardship and responsibility. The scouts understood that they were not only cleaning the beach
but also contributing to the protection of the marine ecosystem, which was vital to the health of
the planet.
