The MHSA 60th State Cross

a time of 19:54.02. Shelby’s
Aeris Stewart was the only
other Class B girl to break
the 20 minute barrier with a
time of 19:59.08. Way to go,
Tenae, we are proud of you!
Also, hats off to Whitewater’s
Shelbi LaBrie, who won the
Class C individual title with
a time of 19:52.42. We’re
sure Mike Brandt will have a

Winter
Weather
coming
A change in the weather is expected this week. Look
for hit or miss rain through Tuesday, changing to snow
by Wednesday. Heavy wet snow is possible Wednesday
night and Thursday. The greater chances look to occur
over higher terrain such as the Little Rockies and south
of the Missouri River and along the Yellowstone River
Valley.
Initial snowfall may be lost due to melt, but icy
conditions may develop Thursday night as temps fall into
the teens. Though the forecast can change depending on
the storm track, now is a good time to prepare and be
winter ready.
Now, reading down to the bottom of the NWS
forecast, it is total YUCK! Lows will be dipping into the
teens on Wednesday night, and then check out Friday
night and Saturday night. Will warmer temps return for
the little spooks on Halloween? (Tuesday, Oct. 31st)

Mentioned on today’s front page is Whitewater’s Class C Champion Shelbi LaBrie.
Here she is, passing up TJ Chirrick of Roberts, who would place fifth. We reached
