Directions: Answer the following questions comprehensively. Give examples to support your claim.
1. How does technology distinctly define generations?
The way that different generations use technology clearly identifies them. Everyone has gotten
used to modern technology, just like the generation before, which has made life easier for
everyone. People can now swiftly obtain the items they need through technological platforms
because technology has made purchasing simpler and faster.
2. Explain the relationship between the use of technological devices and services and the
status of the users of these devices.
There is a strong connection between the two because technological products and services
greatly aid consumers in carrying out their daily chores and interacting with others. This
demonstrates how technology innovations and the services they provide have had a significant
influence on users' status.

3. Does the use of technological devices help improve or destroy human relations? Justify your
answer.
Because individuals utilize electronic devices for the majority of the time, in my opinion, using
them ruins human relationships. They are losing significant relationships with others,
especially their family, and progressively growing distant from those around them, although
they are unaware of this. Additionally, it limits their social life because they spend all of their
time and energy utilizing social media and the internet.
4. Which do you think is more effective traditional printed materials or digital books? Why?
Because they are more easily absorbed and social media is distracting, printed books are more
effective at teaching us how to use our brains in a digital environment. On the other hand, since
digital books emit no signal radiation to the eye, they can protect us from vision blur.

Activity 1

Score:__________________
Course/Year/Section: ___________________________________ Date:___________________
Directions: Answer the following questions correctly
1. What do your screen name and email addresses tell others about you?

I always come up with a clear screen name and email address that are personal to me.
Because most individuals also use their birthday in that manner, sometimes it's just my
name. I occasionally get favorable comments from my friends and those around me since
they are quick to remember them.

2. How do Web pages and blogs, and other social networking sites modify the way people
construct their identity and self-disclosure?

Based on my observation , when it comes to various social media platforms and blogs, the
majority of people just display their positive traits and develop their identities as other
people.

3. How does your offline personality differ/compare with your online identity on social
networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, IG, or blogs?

Compared to my online persona on social networking sites, my offline personality is very

different. Because I can upload videos of myself dancing and singing in my online persona, I
can demonstrate that I'm not shy. I also post pictures that give the impression that I'm very
proud of my physical appearance, which is completely at odds with how I come across in
real life. I'm a shy person who is not sociable, and I also lack confidence in my appearance
since I have a lot of issues.

4. In what environment, offline or online, do you feel there is:

a. better communication experience

Offline communication is preferable in my opinion because I feel more connected to and

sincere when speaking to someone in person, and I receive responses more quickly. For
me, communicating with someone personally is more meaningful than just sending
messages to them without knowing their actual feelings about them.

b. freedom of expression
Due to the public nature of the internet networking platforms, I believe there is freedom of
expression. With social media, I can readily share my thoughts and emotions. Everyone has
the right to freedom of expression, which we can exercise both online and offline.

5. What precautions should be taken keep privacy in an online environment?

Hackers and stalkers are a known problem in today's world. Therefore, we should exercise
caution whenever we use social media. Online Personal Information Protection: 6 Steps

Make secure passwords.

Avoid sharing too much on social media.

Take care when using free Wi-Fi.

Beware of attachments and connections.

Verify the website's security.

Take into account increased defense.
