Position: Process Engineer

Reports To: Lead – Process Engineer

About an Opportunity: Tridiagonal Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Process engineer based
in Pune with Chemical Engineering background to grow its customer base focusing on
Chemical Process Industry.

Purpose: The Process Engineer shall be responsible for leveraging chemical engineering
knowledge and relationships to support process industry customers with significant impact on
software revenue, as well as for helping customers to solve complex engineering problems
using simulation software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, UniSim or PetroSim etc.

This person would be responsible to focus on Process Simulations and engineering calculations
based on empirical equations and thermodynamic models.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as customer
meetings and presentations, demonstrations and evaluations.
• Create and demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows, in
order to realize process optimization and profitability objectives.
• Responsible for articulating value proposition of simulation-based solutions; the
presentations must affirm the sales message, differentiate Tridiagonal, and leave a
strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company
executives.
• Seek opportunities to expand service offerings or cross sell during customer interaction.

Key Competencies:
• Strong background and fundamentals in Process Simulations, Thermodynamics, Mass
transfer and Heat Transfer
• 0 to 1year of experience in use of any Process Simulation software such as
Aspen/HYSIS, UniSim, PetroSim, etc. during their Master Projects / Industrial
experience etc
• Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in Fluent English
• Interested in working with customers and willing to travel 40% of time if required

Education/Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Chemical Engineering with 0 to 1 years of work experience.

Location: Pune. (Work from Office)
