Introduction

I would like to make a project that provides solutions, and ways to minimize the
environmental damages caused by digital end-point devices.

In these days, tech companies utilize a large amount of energy to create digital
devices such as phones, computers, and gadgets. Therefore, this leads to
massive emission of carbon and creates air pollutions which generate a massive
impact on the climate.

Due to this, the weather across the world is becoming hot, unstable, and the
pollution becomes worse, year after year. And as the years go by, the demand of
phones, computers, and devices becomes bigger, as the people are always
willing to purchase those new devices. Therefore, more energy is used, and so,
the air pollution and the weather problem can’t seem to be resolved.

According to some data analytics, if the tech industries don’t change their
strategies to produce their digital products, many people across the globe will
experience the massive impact of air pollution, and bad weather, in the upcoimg
decades or upcoming years.

So, is there a billion-dollar solution for this case? Yes, there is, and it doesn’t
cost a billion-dollar to implement this solution. One of the best ways to produce
digital products is to use clean energy rather than using energy that creates air
pollution and emits carbon into the air. And the other way is to reduce the
purchasement of digital devices. This might sound a little bit irritating at first,
but those people who already have fully-functioning digital devices should start
considering not buying latest tech devices, because this particular behavior can
lead to many good consequences. Those consequences are

1. The less devices that people buy, the less energy the devices generate
from being used.
2. If only a partial of carbon energy is released into the air, this somehow
provides temporary solutions to air pollution problems, and many more.

Aim of my Project

So, my plan is that I want to create a team which will communicate with tech
companies, and insist them on using clean energy sources, rather than using
energy sources such as Petroleum, coal and natural gas. My Project Name is CEM
which is the short from Clean Energy Movement.
Objectives of my Project
1. First of all, I would like to create a Facebook Page, Instragam Page,
Twitter Page, Youtube Channel and LinkedIn Page to share and describe
our team profile, the vision and mission of our team.
2. Then after that, I will make a petition which will be signed by our followers
from every social platform page, and that petition will target on letting our
project team communicate with Big Tech Companies like Apple, Samsung,
Microsoft, Google, and many more, to make serious discussions and plans
to focus on using clean energy to produce their products.
3. Once, we get the chance to meet with those tech companies, we will
provide them clean energy sources from which they can use to create, and
produce their product, and also we will insist them to integrate their
technology with these clean energy sources.

So, these are the objectives that I want to accomplish.

Project Management Plan of CEM (Clean

Energy Movement)
In this session, I would like to talk about our project cost, scope, time-frame,
the ensurance of the quality outcome from our project, team communication,
potential project risks, and project resources.

For our budget, I will be getting funds from Third party organizations to enable
our business continuity, and I will also be making investments for my team to
continue our mission and target.

Scope of CEM (Clean Energy Movement)

For my project scope, I have come up with this kind of idea. Software teams
nowadays use a project phase strategy called “sprint”, to carry out the tasks
within a specific time. Therefore, for this CEM Project, I would like use
sprint-oriented project strategy.

There will be altogether three sprints.

1. In Sprint 1, I will try to create digital profile for our team across the social
media platforms, to share our mission and vision on how we want to
resolve the issues of global warmings, affected by the digital devices, to
the public. Our mission and vision will be shared in the form of facebook
posts, facebook stories, instagram posts, instagram stories, twitter
tweets, and we will use digital marketing tools to spread our movement
across the globe.
2. In Sprint 2, I will try to create a petition and I will distribute this form to
the public so that it can be signed by a huge variety of people to support
our movement and help us reach out to Tech Companies, to make
discussions with them to use clean energy resources seriously.
3. In Sprint 3, once we get an arrangement to meet with the Big Tech
Companies, we will present them with a list of available Clean Energy
Resources, and we will explain them how we can achieve the integration
of their technology with these clean energy resources, and why we need
to implement this business strategy with clean energy resources.

Time Needed to carry out Each Sprint

Sprint 1 2 weeks

Sprint 2 2 weeks

Sprint 3 4 weeks

For Communication Channel, we will use Microsoft teams, and Discord. Also, we
will use Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to communicate with our followers.
Every Project Member will need to report their progress, tasks, and their
problems back to me on Microsoft Teams.

With microsoft teams, we can send

1. Documents
2. Images
3. Videos
4. Polls

Therefore, Microsoft Teams is the best application for us to make

communications within the team.

Despite our project targets, and objectives, there are also potential risks that are
likely to happen.

1. Project Failure
Consequences => can lead to budget loss, and embarrassment of the
company’s profile
Preventions => Making sure that tasks, defined in each project’s sprint
phase are clear and understandable.

2. Devices Malfunctionings
Consequences => can lead to delay in executing project related tasks,
and therefore can also lead to project failure
Preventions => Making sure that devices are functioning well before we
start using it.

3. Lack of Resources
Consequences => can lead to extra investment in additional resources, as
we need to buy more, and if we don’t make new purchase, we will suffer
from shortage of tools needed to execute our tasks
Preventions => Making sure that we are full of resources, and fund.

4. Unable to communicate with the global followers

Consequences => can lead to project failure as we don’t have support
from our followers to continue this movement
Preventions =>Making sure that people like our content and we can carry
out the effective engagement on people to support our movement

5. Unable to get the petition signed by thousands of people across the globe.
Consequences => can lead to project failure as we don’t have support
from our followers to continue this movement
Preventions =>Making sure that people like our content and we can carry
out the effective engagement on people to support our movement

6. Lack of budget
Consequences => can lead to project failure
Preventions =>Making sure that our fund sources are open, and we have
enough resources to use

Producing A WBS Structure for my Project

and designing a Gant Chart

This is the WBS diagram that I have come up with, for my CEM Project.

There will be altogether three Sprints, and I break down the tasks involved in
each of the sprints into multiple sub-tasks.

Now, I would like to describe how much time it can take to complete each of the
tasks involved in three sprints.

In this sprint 2, we will keep writing content, and creating youtube videos to
publish them on Social Platforms, to help us gain more followers, and to help
people to get involved in this movement. And this process will be continued for
the rest of the sprint.

As we get more followers, we can encourage them to sign up for our survey
forms which can later be used as a powerful tool to show the tech companies
how people are taking our CEM (Clean Energy Movement) seriously, and how
they wish to see the changes in production processes of digital companies

Voting From our Follwers are very important in this sprint.

Sprint 3 -> Start Date (17.1.2023) -> End Date (30.1.2023)

Task - C Gathering, Evaluating, The Whole Sprint

and Making a list of (14 Days) ->
clean energy resources Start Date
and strategy which can (17.1.2023) ->
be used for production End Date
(30.1.2023)

In this sprint 3, firstly we will invite or request one of the World’s leading
innovators, Elon Musk to support and fund our movement so that we can
manage to talk to Tech Companies to join with us for the meeting.

With Support from Elon Musk, and with 1 million of votes, we can make sure
that executives of some of the Tech Companies would like to take a seat with us
to discuss about using clean energy sources to produce their products.

So, for the allocation of meeting place, I have decided to choose Pan Pacific as
our Meeting place, and I will make sure that we can make the Meeting Room
ready within 3 days,

We will send email letters to those tech companies, to tell them how we can
arrange flights for them to get to the location of our company before we make a
booking for the Board Meeting Room at Pan Pacific Hotel

During This Sprint, we will refurbish the list of clean energy resources, and the
strategies that we have designed to integrate the clean energy sources with
digital technologies.

And also, during the evaluation process of our clean energy sources, we will
design and implement a new IOT project to show how we can use clean energy
source as our source of energy to create a dancing robot, instead of using
energy that emits carbon.

Therefore, Gathering, Evaluating, and Making a list of clean energy resources

and strategy processes will take the whole sprint to finish for us.
Gant Chart

Now, after I have made a Gant chart for my project, I will describe the survey
form that I will distribute to my followers on social platforms.

Caring Out the Process of Small-Scale

Research
For my survey form, I manage to include both Quantitative Research Questions,
and Qualitative Research Questions, which are related to my Project Objectives,
and Project Aims, into my survey form.

For Quantitative Research Questions, I have come up with a survey form.

In this survey form, I would like to evaluate how people have opinions and how
people reflect on our Project.
This survey is for Quantitative Research Purposes, and I use Google Form as the
Quantitative Research Tool to carry out the process.

This survey is for Quantitative Research Purposes, and I use Google Form as the

For Qualitative Research Questions, I have come up with a survey form.

In this survey form, I would like to know what people have discovered, have
knowned and have explored from our pages

This survey is for Qualitative Research Purposes, and I use Google Form as the
Qualitative Research Tool to carry out the process.

Therefore, by using Google Form, I have received multiple information from my

followers, and I have known how they think about my project.

Here is the analysis of data that I have received from my surveys

Communicating suitable recommendations

depending on research and data analysis
As we send out our survey form, we get to know how many people enjoy our
content from our social platforms, and we also get to know how people have
opinions on our posts, and how our posts help them understand about clean
energy sources.

So now, I would like to make the analysis of qualitative research that I have
made on 5 individuals.
In this research question, I asked about what helps my followers from our page
to get to explore more, after reading about my clean energy sources content on
my social media platforms.

75% of the people who made responses, said that they begin to explore more
about Clean Energy Sources, and Digital Technology’s impact on natural
environment after reading my Clean Energy Sources content on my facebook
page. Only 25% of the people seem to explore topics about integration of Clean
Energy with Digital Technology, after reading my facebook content.

So therefore, we can assume that most of the people seem to like what we are
doing as they become interested to explore more about our content on the
internet.

In this research question, I asked about what helps my followers from our page
to understand more, after reading about my clean energy sources content on my
social media platforms.

Every person, reading my content on my social media pages, has somehow

managed to understand how to reduce carbon emission, after reading my
content.

Half of the people also manage to understand how to use clean energy sources
such as Wind Solar.

And, one-forth of the people somehow seemed to understand how to integrate

clean energy sources with our digital technology.
So, therefore, we can assume that our followers become more aware of the
capabilities that clean energy sources can offer, to the environment

In this research question, I asked about what helps my followers from our page
to discover and realize, after reading about my clean energy sources content on
my social media platforms.

According to the Chart, 75% of the people have come to realize the fact about
how the environment is dealing with impacts from production of digital devices,
while half of them have come to discover about how we can utilize solar energy
to reduce carbon emission, and how we can actually experience the collaboration
of clean energy sources with digital technologies.

Therefore, according to this chart, we are aware that people are being in touch
with our content, as they realize how clean energy sources can contribute to our
community.
In this research question, I asked about which contents make my followers from
our page, get more interested in the fields of Clean Energy Sources , after
reading about my clean energy sources content on my social media platforms.

According to the chart, 50% of the people are interested in reading contents
about Wind Solar Energy, while 75% of the people are interested in reading
contents about Apple’s vision to use Clean Energy.

25% of people are interested in reading content about the utilization of clean
energy in delivering an IOT project.

So, since every person seems to enjoy reading at least one of our posts,
according to the chart, we are making the right content for the community.
In this research question, I would like to know whether if our content change our
followers’ perspective on digital devices.

According to the chart, 75% of people feel bad about the ways of productions,
made by Technology Companies, and they are determined that they want those
technologies companies to focus on using clean energy sources.

But, there seems to be 25% people of people who feel bad about the ways of
productions, made by Technology Companies, however, they still love using the
features provided by those manufactured devices.

So, I feel like Most of the people seem to understand our mission and goals, as
they want to support us to make changes to the production of digital devices,
using clean energy sources, while there are some people, who seem to be
enjoying the experience that they already have.

So, before we wrap this up, I would like show some of the contributions that we
have made for the people with some charts.

According to this graph, we have found out that at least one post is read per day
per user. So, therefore, it somehow seems to match with our target as we are
expecting the audience to read at least one post per day.

And their way of understanding our content is already described in the paragraph
above.

Since we can help them understand our goal, we can assume that we don’t need
to make changes to our way of writing content about Clean Energy Sources.
According to this chart, Most of the people seem to enjoy reading our content,
and they are expecting to read more about content, describing ways to utilize
clean energy sources as our daily energy source.

Therefore, we need to add more content, related to this topic, to satisfy our
needs of the followers.

However, since they feel that they enjoy reading our content, there’s no need to
add extra resources into the content team.
According to this chart, we have achieved the target of sprint 2.

In sprint 2, the main objective is to distribute the survey form to encourage

people to sign up at our petition page to support our movent as we try to hold
discussions with the board executives of the tech companies. And in this chart,
every people agrees to sign up at our petition page to support our movement
towards the goal of utilizing clean energy sources.

So, therefore, our sprint 2 target is reached.

So, to wrap this analysis report, we have found out that

1. We need to add more content, related to this topic, to satisfy our needs of
the followers.
2. We don’t need to extra human resources to strengthen our content team,
as our content team is already perfect with their resources
3. As we don’t need to extra human resources, we don’t need to use more
budget
4. And our sprint 2 target is achieved.

These are the conclusions that I can draw from our survey analysis report.

As we finish carrying out survey forms and petition processes, we did receive
support from our followers, and recommendations from Elon Musk to help us
communicate with Board Executives of the Tech Company.

Due to those support from our followers, and Elon Musk, Board Executives of the
Tech Companies finally let us hold a meeting with them to discuss about Clean
Energy Sources and integration of Clean Energy Sources with their Technology.
After holding a meeting with the Board Executives, both of the parties have
come to an agreement that solar energy can be used from now on to
manufacture their digital tech devices, and other related products.

Therefore, our mission and our goals have been accomplished.

Caring out the reflection on the values

gained from the Project
From this project, I have gained knowledge, experience and values in terms of

1. Cost Control Skill - It is from this project that I become aware of how
important cost control skill is for project management.

During Sprint 3, I encountered some financial issues as I arranged

meeting place to hold discussions with the Board Executives of Tech
Companies. If Elon Musk didn’t support me with some budget, I would be
in huge trouble as I didn’t expect the total cost of booking a board
meeting room at Pan Pacific Hotel. Therefore, this experience leads me to
believe that financial control management is crucial and necessary.

2. Negotiating Tactics - It is from this project that I become aware of how

crucial negotiating tactics skills can be when it comes to project
management. During Sprint 3, as I try to make connections with board
executives of Tech Companies, I utilize negotiating tactics, provided by
Elon Musk to persuade the tech companies to hold meeting with us to
discuss about clean energy resources. Therefore, I have gained a lot of
knowledge in terms of Negotiating Tactis

3. Communication Tactics - Also, I discovered that Communication plays a

vital role in Project Management, as it helps our team to get in touch with
our progress, and solve problems together.

4. Risk Management Tactics - Also, I discovered that Risk Management Tactis

are important in project management. Since I include Elon Musk as our
fund supporter in our risk management prevention plan, I manage to
overcome the financial issue that occurred during sprint 3 of my project
plan.

Therefore, these are the values and experiences that I have gained from this
project.
Designing Performance Review Table
1. The Actual Project aim is to insist tech companies to use Clean Energy
Sources to manufacture their digital products and collaborate the
integration of clean energy sources with digital technology of Tech
Companies.
2. The Project seems to succeed, as we get a huge load of support from the
people according to the charts, and we can hold the meeting with board
executives of the tech company to start using clean energy sources, and
both parties have come up with an agreement to manufacture the
products using Clean Energy Sources
3. One of the best factors that drive us to success is the commitment by the
team to deliver their tasks to completion within a short amount of time.
Also, it is very satisfying to see that this team has a huge load of
consistency.
4. In terms of problems, only financial issues occurred during sprint 3, and
some time delay problems. But, however, due to our project recovery
plan, we manage to overcome these issues.
5. From Taking this project, I have learnt about how to optimize
communication tactics, negotiating tactics, risk management tactics, and
cost control tactics
6. From this project, I found out that I seem to have weakness in estimating
the overall cost of the project since I dealt with some financial issues in
sprint 3, however the strength that I found from myself and my team is
that we don’t easily give up and we always come up with preparations,
and consistency.
Logbook Of My Project

Conclusion
Therefore, the main objective of project management plan is to achieve a list of
tasks within in a specified time. With Project Management Plan, our team can
achieve our objectives, sustain our financial resources, and prevent the core
attributes of our team from different types of risks.

And as the project manager of CEM (Clean Energy Movement), I feel satisfied
that our team’s objective is accomplished as we manage to hold meetings with
Board Executives of the Tech Company to make discussions about the utilization
of clean energy sources. And the final outcome is truly aligned with our
satisfactions.
In this project, I experience not only values and experience, but also joy and
happiness from doing this project
