Order and Ranking

Anita's original rank was 12th in a class of 46 students. To find her new rank from the last, we subtract her original rank from the total number of students, giving her a new rank of 35th from the last. The document contains 23 word problems involving concepts related to order, ranking, and relative position in rows, columns, classes and other linear arrangements. The problems require determining ranks, positions, ages or other attributes based on the information given about two or more people's positions or relationships. Mathematical logic and reasoning is needed to solve the problems.
