Germanium diode:
They can be used with very small amplitude
AC signal voltages in such applications as radio signal
detectors (demodulators) in radio receivers.
When the external voltage applied to the
germanium diode reaches 0.3 volts, the germanium
diode begins to pass a large electric current. At this
point, a small increase in voltage rapidly increases the electric current.
Transmitter diode:
IR LEDs The infrared diodes of the receiver
and transmitter are a pair of infrared LEDs and
photo diodes tuned to the same IR wavelength.
You can use this sensor for your robotics, pulse
oximeter and other applications. 5mm IR LED
emitting light in the infrared region, which is
invisible to the human eye.
An infrared emitter is a light
emitting diode (LED) that emits infrared radiation called an IR LED. Although an
IR LED looks like a normal LED, the radiation it emits is invisible to the human eye.
LED diode:
A Light Emitting Diode (LED) is a
semiconductor device that can emit light
when an electric current is passed
through it. To do this, holes from p-type
semiconductors recombine with electrons
from n-type semiconductors to produce
light.
Light Emitting Diode (LED) is a widely used standard light source in
electrical equipment. They are mostly used in devices that tell time and display
various types of data.
Diode 1N5408:
The 1N5408 diode is an inexpensive, high-
current diode for circuit protection and voltage
rectification. The 1N5408 diode has a
permanent reverse voltage of 1000V and is
suitable for high forward currents of up to 3A.
The diode has a forward voltage drop of 1.2V.
It is a Power Rectifier Diode with a
maximum forward current of 3A and a voltage
drop of 1V.
1N5819 diode:
The 1N5819 is a Schottky diode with low forward voltage drop and high
switching speed. It is commonly used in high frequency applications such as
inverters, DC-DC converters, etc.
Diode 1N4007:
The 1N4007 Bridge Rectifier Diode is a general purpose silicon diode. The
1N4007 Bridge Rectifier Diode is a p–n diode, which is a type of two-terminal
semiconductor diode based on a p–n junction that conducts current in one
direction only.
The 1N4007 is the most commonly used rectifier diode. It is commonly
used in rectifier circuits, protection circuits and regulator circuits.
