A Quarrel

An Accident
Every morning, I use my school bus to go to school. I will usually wait at the bus
stand which is an 8-minute walk away from my home, close to a crossroad. One morning, as
always, I was waiting for my school bus when an accident occurred. 35. ___________
The traffic police man on duty blew his whistle loudly but the bus driver did not
stop. 36. ______________ At the opposite direction, one boy riding a motorbike seemed to
be in great hurry. He moved ahead all of the other vehicles with an unexpected start. He did
not notice the speeding bus. 37. _____________The boy was thrown into the air before he
fell on the road.
His helmet which he hadn’t fastened came off. His head hit the ground and he lay

gathered around the boy.
Luckily, the police came to the rescue. They called for an ambulance over their
wireless radio and cleared away the gathered crowd. With its siren on, the ambulance came

Some paramedics remained at the scene. A few bus passengers who suffered minor
