year students, All NSS Volunteers, All NCC Cadets and All Sportspersons are required to report for
March Past Rehearsals at 5.15 PM sharp on 05.10.2023. The regular March Past will be held at the
time of Inauguration Ceremony of the Athletic Meet at 9.15 AM sharp on 06.10.2023 and at the
time of Closing Ceremony of the Athletic Meet at 5:05 PM on 08.10.2023. All the students
mentioned above will participate in the March Past on 06.10.2023 at 9.15 AM and on 08.10.2023 at
5.05 PM in White Shirt, Blue Trouser and White Canvas Shoes (Blue Turban for Sikh Students).
The Best March Past contingent will be awarded a Prize.

Prof.Sukhwinder Singh (ECE) will judge the perfonnance of March-Past Contingent and will submit
the name of the Best March Past Contingent, Second Best and Third Best March Past Contingent to
the ADSA (Sports) after observing the performance. March Past will be held at the tirrte of
Inauguration Ceremony of the Meet at 9.15 AM on 06.10.2023 and at the time of Closing
Ceremony of the Athletic Meet at 5.05 PM on 08.10.2023.

This committee will make sure that Athletic Stadium, Gymnasium Hall, Swimming Pool and
its surroundings are neat & clean before, during and after the Meet. The Athletic Stadium must be
cleaned before 30.09.2023.
Decoration & Gardening Committee

Security Committee

This committee will make necessary security arrangements for equipments, Furniture,
Shamiana and other materials in the Athletic Stadium before, during and after the Meet, especially at
night.

Chairman . Estate & Works will be the Chief Coordinator of the Traffic, Sanitation,
Decoration & Gardening and Security Committees.

All bonafide students of the institute are supposed to participate in this Meet. Hence, the
students are required to participate / present in the Annual Athletic Meet during three days. All Head
of Departments will make necessary arrangements for taking the attendance of all students of their
department by the respective faculty during three days.

Staff members working beyond their duty hours and on off days shall be given compensatory
leave by their respective Incharge/Head.

MARCH PAST REHEARSAL FOR ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET 2023-24
There will be rehearsals in March Past on 05.10.2023 at 5.15 PM on the Athletic Stadium. The
following students will participate:

1. First Year (All Group)

2. All 2nd, 3rd, 4th year B.E. & M.E. I & II year students
3. All N.S.S. Students Members
4. All N.C.C. Cadets
5. All Sportspersons
They are requested to report for rehearsals at 5.15 PM sharp on 05.10.2023. If any Sportsperson
fails to participate in rehearsals or in the March Past on 06.10.2023 at 9.15 AM and on 08.10.2023 at
5:05 PM, their games certificates shall be withheld. No benefit shall be given to absentees.
The regular March Past will be held at the time of Inauguration Ceremony of the Athletic Meet
at 9.15 AM sharp on 06.10.2023 and at the time of Closing Ceremony of the Athletic Meet at 5.05
PM on 08.10.2023. All the students mentioned in item 1 to 5 above will participate in the March
Past on 06.10.2023 at 9.15 AM and on 08.10.2023 at 5.05 PM in White Shirt, Blue Trouser and
White Canvas Shoes (Blue Turban for Sikh Students). The Best March Past contingent will be
awarded a Prize.
