What are the academic subjects you are most interested in?

I am most interested in maths, science, physics, chemistry, philosophy, history, technology, computer
science and languages such as English, Arabic, Spanish and French.

Please list in the space below any specific classes in which you have participated in the field
of technology/ STEM.

Please describe any extracurricular activities in which you have participated that relate to
technology/ STEM, how long you have been involved with each, as well as any awards or
honors received.

I have been a member in the robotics club in my school for 3 years. During these years, I
have developed some knowledge and skills by conceptualizing, designing, and programming
robots: I have learned the basics of electronics, computer programming, robotics, 3D
modelling as well as developing communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Moreover, we have also competed in events against teams from other schools; we have won 2
awards and that’s the best part of this club because it has led me to increase my motivation,
identify my strengths and weaknesses so that I can improve my productivity and performance
in order to win.
In addition to that, I have participated in maths Olympiad. I have discovered how to solve
complex problems using maths and logic. Everything was hard at the beginning but when I
have put all my efforts and start practicing, I have achieved my goals and arrived to the
regional qualifications. It starts getting hard, but I tend to accept challenges and use all what
I have learned to not get eliminated. Maths Olympiad has taught me how to think logically
and improve my maths skills so that I can solve problems easily and proficiently.
Please describe any additional extracurricular/community activities (non-STEM related) in
which you have participated, and how long you have been involved with each.
Every year, our school organise a spelling bee competition; I tend to participate on it each
time and I have won once. I have learned lots of words and their spelling as well. It was
really interesting!
Furthermore, I always participate in our school sports events. My classmates and I played
volleyball against other classes, and we were finalists. In addition to that, I competed in
pingpong and I have won the third place in our school.
Please list in the space below your plans for future studies and/or possible occupations you
have considered.
I certainly have some plans; I would like to mix technology and STEM with the business field.
I am looking to expand my knowledge in STEM so that I can master data analytics and
business intelligence: to do that I should be good at STEM skills such as maths and statistics
as they are highly valuable in this field. Businesses us data analysis to make informed
decisions, optimize operations and identify trends and opportunities. Moreover, I want to have
a great startup entrepreneurship. Using STEM, I could start a technology-based businesses.
Founding a startup can involve developing and commercializing technology products or
services. Also, understanding the technology sector, along with financial analysis skills, can
be beneficial when analysing and investing in technology companies.
