Learning Standards/Indicators:

Standard F1.1 - Choose/specify the sentences and texts related to non-text information read.

Standard F1.2 - Speak and write appropriately to express needs, ask for help and agree and
refuse to give help in various situations.

Standard F1.3 - Speak/write to express opinions about activities or various matters around
them as well as provide brief justifications.

Standard F2.1 - Use language, tone of voice, gestures and manners politely and appropriately
by observing social manners and culture of native speakers.

Standard F2.2 - Compare and explain similarities and differences between the lifestyles and
culture of native speakers and those of Thais, and apply them appropriately.

Standard F3.1 - Search for, collect and summarise the data/facts related to other learning
areas from learning sources, and present them through speaking/writing.

Standard F4.1 - Use language for communication in real situations/simulated situations in the
classroom, school, community and society.

Standard F4.2 - Disseminate/convey to the public data and news about the school, community

Course Description:

In English-Main Course, the students will learn words for asking favors, introducing
and explaining. They will also learn to read aloud terminologies, passages, phrases,
sentences, conversation, tales, short verses, and captions from different texts, languages that
are not sorted, and languages used for personal conversation. They will also learn to identify
main ideas, analyze and give opinions, use appropriate language, tone of voice, gestures and
manners by observing social manners and culture of Native Speakers, and participate in or
organize language and cultural activities in accordance with their interests.

The students will learn to tell the differences and similarities between pronunciation
of various kinds of sentences, use of punctuation marks and word in accordance of the
structures of Thai and English languages; be able to compare similarities and differences
between festivals, celebration, important days and lifestyles of the Native Speakers and those
of the Thai which is done by co-teaching between Thai and Native Speaker Instructors.

From the above mentioned description, the students will develop knowledge,
understanding, skills, abilities and desired characteristics as specified by the Ministry of
Education.

Course Objectives:

1. To be able to have the knowledge and understanding about the culture and the use of
Foreign Language in conveying public data and news, to establish interpersonal
relationships, and to express feelings and ideas/concepts.
2. To be able to have the skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing of the Foreign
Language for communication in real situations or simulated situations in the
classroom, school, community and society.
3. To be able to follow the Desired Characteristics for Learners as specified by the
Ministry of Education.
