SUBJECT : Progress Report re: Robbery Incident

DATE : October 21, 2023

1. Reference: Initial Holdup Report on October 6, 2023

2. On or about 6:00pm on October 6, 2023, Ariosa Street, San Francisco,


Pagadian City, in front of Camila Hotel.

3. On the aforementioned date and time, a holdup incident occurred on


Ariosa Street, San Francisco, Pagadian City, involving the victim,
Charlotte Sibala y Russel, a 19-year-old medical student at Mendero
College. As she was walking to her dormitory, an unidentified male
suspect approached her from behind, whispered threats, and demanded
her money.

The suspect forcibly took the following items from the victim:

1.) A pair of gold earrings


2.) Gold necklace
3.) Diamond ring
4.) A gold bracelet
5.) A Rolex wristwatch
6.) Four hundred pesos (400.00P) in cash

After the robbery, the suspect crossed the street and escaped. Instead of
returning home, the victim promptly reported the incident to SPO1 Dela
Cruz Jr. A description of the suspect was provided: a Filipino male,
approximately 30 years old, around 130 pounds, 5'5" tall, oval face, dark
brown complexion, regular haircut, wearing a short-sleeve polo barong,
brown pants, brown leather shoes, and carrying a black attache case.
4. Further investigation to confirm the suspect's identity and gather additional
evidence related to the case.

 Coordination with the victim to ensure a thorough statement and


cooperation throughout the legal proceedings.

 Collect and document any additional evidence or witnesses related to


the case.

5. Upon receiving this progress report, the headquarters initiated further


investigations and collaborated with the victim to ensure the accuracy and
completeness of the information provided. Additionally, efforts were made
to gather additional evidence and witnesses to strengthen the case
against the suspect. The suspect remains in custody and will face charges
of robbery based on the evidence collected. Further updates will be
provided as the investigation progresses.

6. Two weeks after the initial incident, a surveillance operation led to the
sighting of the suspect along Gov. Datoc and Sanson Streets. When
confronted by law enforcement officers, the suspect surrendered
voluntarily. The Rolex wristwatch stolen from the victim was recovered
from his possession. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged
with the crime of robbery.
