MINDFUL ATTENTION TO BREATHING

Introduction:
Convey the importance of breathing in mindfulness, since through it we ensure that the body and mind
are in the same place, that is, in the present. The breath is used as an anchor tofocus on the present
moment.
Goals:
- Know breathing: identify inspiration and expiration.
- Introduce listening practices and inviting the bell.
- Promote the ability to pay attention and react.
- Encourage conscious breathing.
- Develop and enhance creativity.

3. ACTIVITIES:
3.1 FIRST WEEK ACTIVITIES:

The students will practice the breathing technique with five fingers.

3.2.2 Practical activity:Paint a rainbow!


The children, grouped in teams of 4, will have to create a rainbow using techniques of their choice
(painting, drawing, collage, stamping, etc.)

Bubble Breathing (Alina)


Sitting in a relaxed position, children will imagine that they have a magic wand in their hand that
produces balloons when they blow through it. Inhale deeply through the nose, then exhale through the
mouth, blow through the wand to scatter the balloons into the air.
You can do t the breathing exercises with the students at the beginning of class or when they need a
moment to relax.

Practical activity
We invite you to make a paper windmill with your students.
You need a square of paper, a straw and a pin.
By following the steps in the videos, you will get a beautiful toy that children put into operation using
prolonged inhalation and exhalation.

COLABORATELY ACTIVITY:
The teachers will present a new breathing exercise in a photo that they will describe in a few words.
The photo and description of the breathing exercise will be uploaded on the personal page of each
teacher using a digital application.

4. DIGITAL ACTIVITY:
The children will choose a number from the proposed game, then they will perform the indicated
action.

5. MINDFULNESS POEM:
Throughout the entire project we will teach our students the following poem (The evidence of this
activity will be collected with that of the last block).

When in doubt,

When you get angry,
pause for a moment.
When you get tired,
pause for a moment.
When you get stressed,
pause for a moment.
And when you pause,
take a deep breath
and be grateful.

On a target divided into three different colors (red, yellow and green), the students will have to indicate
whether they really liked the activities that have been carried out throughout the different blocks by
placing, for example, their photo in the color green, in yellow if they liked it little or in red if, on the
contrary, they didn't like it at all.
6. ACTIVITIES FOR BEING CARRING OUT BY FAMILES:

They will practice the three breathing exercises and make the presented toy made of plastic. After
making the toy, the students will present it in the classroom.
OUR FINAL PROJECT
This digital book is one of our final products that we are going to develop throughout the different
blocks. In it we are going to compile all the activities proposed by everyone in the forum and that are
related to each of the blocks with which we are working.
IMPORTANT: In the book the activities will only be reflected by the people in charge of organizing
each week.
