In Various Speech Situations
I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

1. Identify the various types of speech context;


2. Identify the various types of speech context through valuing critical thinking; and
3. Hypothesize the various types of speech context.

II. Subject Matter


1. Content: Identifies the various types of speech context
2. Learning Resources: Laptop, Internet, Books/print out materials
3. Values Integration: Let students recite the various types of speech context
and let them integrate the essence of Respect for Human Rights.

III. Procedures
A. Preliminary Activities:
a. Prayer
b. Greetings
c. Checking of Attendance
d. Review
The teacher will browse www.k12oralcom.weebly.com . He
will facilitate the class and spend a few minutes on a Review Lesson.
e. Motivation
The class will be divided into 10 groups. Each group will be
given instructions and look for 2 volunteers to talk about the various
types of speech context. The teacher will encourage the majority of
students to participate in the activity. In addition, he will have to
individually call students so that 75% of them can identify the various
types of speech context.

B. Activity
The teacher will facilitate students through differentiated instructions
and also motivate the group of students to theorize the various types of speech
context. Students are given only 5 minutes to perform their assigned tasks
within their respective groups.
C. Analysis
The teacher will ask the Guide Question:
Why do various types of speech context be identified by students?

D. Abstraction
The teacher will start the discussion by asking:
How do students identify the various types of speech context?

E. Application
Explain why do students identify the various types of speech context?

IV. Evaluation
In a group discussion and collaboration, students shall identify the
various types of speech context.

V. Assignment
Advance reading in the Types of speeches and speech style.
