 Abstract

Our team consists of team members Divya Muralidharan (Team Leader), Shivanshi
Vyas, Arya Vyas and Rishi Shori.

Our Project was guided by internal guide Shalin Patel sir.

Bus schedules and routes changes sometimes due to some certain external factors
like heavy traffic or road blocks. It’s hard to inform all the passengers about the
route changes at the time.

We are developing a system that has the ability to track the current location of the
bus which will help the passengers who are in the bus or waiting for the bus. It also
fastens the process of verification of passengers using QR code system and also the
passengers need not carry the hardcopy of the receipt.

structural/building/architectural engineers. The uniting concept is a focus on

 Introduction

1.1 What is design engineering

Design Engineering is a general term that covers multiple engineering disciplines

 Canvas Activities
2.1 AEIOU Canvas

Observation through AEIOU

Through AEIOU canvas we observed that when the bus's route or schedule is
changed, it is not possible to inform all the passengers about the update.
Due to crowdy and full buses sometime the passengers have to wait for long.
Some passengers listen to music or talk loudly which sometimes creates disturbance
to other passengers.

In AEIOU canvas, we mentioned about the Activities, Environment, Interaction,
Object and Users of our project.
In the environment we have observed crowdy and noisy environment.
In Activities, we have driving, ticket checking, pass verification etc.
In Interactions, we have Passenger to Ticket Checker interactions and many other.
In Objects we have bus, phone, pass etc.
The users are Passengers, driver, ticket checker, bus agency and authority.

 2.2 Mind Mapping Canvas

In mind mapping Canvas we have shown how our system will work and what are
the other things included in our system.

 2.3 Empathy mapping canvas

In empathy mapping Canvas we describe about the stories we heard about the
problems in our domain. The stakeholders are bus agency and authority. The
activities include driving, ticket checking, pass verification etc.

A college going student travel in ST bus, he daily reaches the bus stop at certain
time. One day when he as usual reaches the station, he waits for the bus for long
time. Afterwards when he inquires he gets to know that his bus departed from the
stop early.

 2.4 Ideation Canvas

In Ideation Canvas, we mention about the people that are passengers, driver, bus
agency, ticket checker, authority and activities that include reading, listening music,
pass verification etc. The situation and context for location includes arrival of bus,
rush near the arrived bus, bus station etc.

In product development Canvas we mention about the structure of a program around

the emotional needs of the user and building solutions around the needs of the user
such as the product experience that is helpful and user friendly. Product features are
GPS, QR code, verification and notification and product functions such as bus
tracking, displaying fee status.

 Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineering Is also called back engineering Is the processof where a

man-made object is deconstructed to reveal its design, architecture, or to extract
knowledge from the object.

This process is similar to scientific research but the only difference is that
scientific research is about natural phenomenon.
Reverse engineering is applicable in the field of mechanical engineering,
electronic engineering, software engineering, chemical engineering and system
biology.

In our project, we have changed few things refering to similar projects in the
market.

In our website, we have added the feature of renewing the bus pass, adding all
types of payment (such as upi id, debit card, credit card and so on ).
