Who is Joji?
George Kusunoki Miller, also known as Jojiis
is aJapanese singer-songwriter, rapper and
internet personality.

George was born in Osaka, Japan. His father is


Australian and his mother is Japanese. He
attended Canadian Academy, an international
school in Kobe, Japan, where he graduated in 2012.
George became the first Asia-born artist to top
the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart for his album
Ballads 1.
The Online Persona
George hasn’t always been known as joji as he’s also know as
Filthy Frank and Pink Guy, these are his “characters” from when
he used to be big on Youtube. Filthy Frank is more of his messed
up and uncensored version of himself and Pink guy is when
George started his song career.

Pink Guys style has an intereting style mixing trap rap with
ukulele ditties and downtempo electronic themes to the song ,
the song talk about very provocetive and uncensored opinons
on subjects, my personal favourite from pink guy song is She’s
so nice, with this song you can start to see joji in Geroge’s
work, a lot of him songs don’t shy away from being
inappropriate which is also in his other character Filthy Frank.
Filthy Frank
Filthy Frank is the reason Joji excisted, Filthy Frank is a YouTube channal which
was made in 2013 but was only used for Bloopers for the time as his other
channel TooDamnFilthy would be his main for a short while.TooDamnFilthy
would be a place where George could post scits and have fun making content.
he would start to get traction from of his videos and he would post videos so
that other people could use them for their videos like its time to stop now and
Know your place trash , but later on he would start to talk about his opinons
with a provocative mind set which is where he would find most success and he
gained over 7 million subscribers but with pink guy and filthy frank he started to
become joji and he didn’t like the content he was making anymore so he discied
to kill off his character for a final video. This caused people to be upset and the
with more hateful fans being not very epathetic

But now with him leaving the channel


and killing his characters off and
people we’re not happy, how would joji
change with him image being
completely destoried from his channel

The success of Joji
will he was Jojis first song a trip hop and lo-fi
that did decent as his first song but not as
successfulsong Slow Dancing In The Dark with
it getting 1 Billon views on Spotify and was
chosen as BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac's
Hottest Record in the World for 18 September
2018 .This song would blow joji into into
popularity and is where i would see him , Joji
was different from anything George had ever
done , he’s always doing different things with
his music changing genres and trying to do
different vocouls with every song, his songs
are emotional and relatable , most of his
song’s talk about falling out of love and trying
to move on be never really being able to
forget the memorys with them or about how
boring summer is , he will write about anything
with his own little spin on things.

Joji’s image is weird as most people know him from


different backgrounds and i think that’s ok , if you
know George as Filthy Frank thats fair if you know his
has joji that also fine , George isn’t just Filthy Frank
or joji or pink guy , He’s who you know him as.
