RBI Announces Phased Discontinuation of Incremental Cash Reserve Ratio (I-CRR)

 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has unveiled a plan to gradually discontinue the Incremental Cash Reserve Ratio (I-
CRR) in response to evolving liquidity conditions.
 The RBI Governor, Shaktikanta Das, introduced the I-CRR, mandating all scheduled banks to maintain a 10% reserve
ratio on the increase in their net demand and time liabilities (NDTL).
