I am an android user and I use Vivo’s flagship phone named Vivo V21.
I bought Vivo’s phone, and the reason why I chose the brand is that I had a budget of up to Rs.
70,000 and I looked for several alternatives I could go for between the range of Rs.60,000 to Rs.
70,000. I found all the necessary specifications in Vivo V21 and at the same time it was offered
to me in a better price range. First of all I thought my decision to be very value to money where I
was getting a relatively better processor, an 8GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery. I am an active
phone user where I am performing multiple activities on the phone so battery and processing
speed are the primary focus of my decision whenever I have to buy a tech related product.
3. Do you think Apple can continue to grow by developing breakthrough products that
create new markets, as it did with the iPod, iPhone, and iPad?
Yes, I believe Apple has the potential to continue growing by developing breakthrough products
that create new markets. Apple has a track record of introducing innovative and disruptive
products, such as the iPod, iPhone, and iPad, which revolutionized their respective industries.
These products not only captured the market's attention but also created entirely new markets and
consumer behaviors. Apple's ability to combine cutting-edge technology with sleek design and
user-friendly interfaces has been a key factor in its success. Additionally, Apple has a strong
brand reputation and a loyal customer base, which gives it an advantage in introducing new
products and expanding into new markets. However, it is important for Apple to continue
investing in research and development, staying ahead of technological advancements, and
understanding evolving consumer needs and preferences to sustain its growth trajectory.
Samsung's global marketing strategy has played a significant role in enabling it to compete
effectively against Apple. One key aspect of Samsung's strategy is its ability to cater to diverse
market segments and adapt to local preferences. By offering an extensive variety of cell
phone model with different features and price points, Samsung has been able to appeal to a
broader consumer base. Additionally, Samsung has focused on innovation and technological
advancements, constantly introducing new features and improvements in its products. This has
helped Samsung position itself as a strong competitor in the smartphone market. Furthermore,
Samsung has invested heavily in marketing and advertising, promoting its products through
various channels and creating impactful campaigns. This has helped raise brand awareness and
establish Samsung as a leading player in the industry. Overall, Samsung's global marketing
strategy, which combines product diversification, innovation, and effective promotion, has been
instrumental in its success and ability to compete against Apple.
The prospects for the global success of HomePod are promising but also face challenges.
HomePod is Apple's smart speaker that integrates with its ecosystem of products and services. It
offers high- quality audio and features like Siri voice assistant. However, the smart speaker
market is highly competitive, with established players like Amazon Echo and Google Home
already having a strong presence. To achieve global success, Apple needs to effectively position
HomePod as a premium audio device with superior sound quality and seamless integration with
other Apple products. It also needs to expand its language support and enhance the capabilities of
Siri to compete with the advanced voice assistants offered by its competitors. Apple's strong
brand reputation and loyal customer base can work in its favor, especially among existing Apple
device users. Additionally, Apple's focus on privacy and security can be an appealing factor for
consumers who are concerned about data protection. However, the success of HomePod will
depend on factors like pricing, availability, marketing efforts, and the ability to continuously
innovate and improve the product. Apple will also need to expand its partnerships and
integrations with third-party services to enhance the overall user experience. Overall, while the
global success of HomePod is possible, it will require strategic positioning, continuous
innovation, and effective marketing to compete in the highly competitive smart speaker market.
6. Do you think Apple should develop self-driving cars (i.e., hardware) or focus on self-
driving systems (i.e., software)?
The decision of whether Apple should develop self-driving cars or focus on self-driving systems
depends on various factors and strategic considerations. Both hardware and software play crucial
roles in the development of self-driving vehicles. Developing self-driving cars would involve
designing and manufacturing the physical vehicles, which can be a complex and capital-intensive
process. It would require expertise in automotive engineering, safety regulations, and supply chain
management. By developing their own hardware, Apple would have more control over the entire
user experience and could potentially differentiate themselves in the market. On the other hand,
focusing on self-driving systems (software) would involve developing advanced algorithms,
artificial intelligence, and machine learning capabilities to enable autonomous driving. This
approach would allow Apple to collaborate with existing automakers or mobility service
providers, leveraging their manufacturing expertise while focusing on the software aspect. It could
also provide opportunities for partnerships and licensing agreements. Ultimately, the decision
would depend on Apple's long-term strategic goals, available resources, and assessment of market
opportunities. It is worth noting that Apple has been exploring both avenues, as evidenced by its
Project Titan initiative focusing on self-driving car technology.
There are numerous potentials uses for an AI-enabled iPhone. Here are a few examples: 1. Virtual
Assistant: An AI-enabled iPhone can serve as a virtual assistant, using natural language
processing and machine learning to understand and respond to user commands and queries. 2.
Personalized Recommendations: The iPhone can leverage AI algorithms to provide personalized
recommendations for various aspects of life, such as music, movies, books, restaurants, and more.
3. Enhanced Camera Capabilities: AI can be used to improve the camera capabilities of the
iPhone, enabling features like advanced image recognition, augmented reality (AR) experiences,
and real- time object detection. 4. Smart Home Integration: With AI, the iPhone can act as a
central hub for controlling and managing smart home devices, allowing users to control lights,
thermostats, security systems, and more through voice commands or automated routines. 5.
Health Monitoring: AI can enable the iPhone to track and analyze health data, providing insights
and personalized recommendations for fitness, sleep, and overall well-being. 6. Language
Translation: An AI-
enabled iPhone can offer real-time language translation, making it easier for users to
communicate with people from different linguistic backgrounds. 7. Enhanced Security: AI
algorithms can enhance the security features of the iPhone, such as facial recognition or
fingerprint scanning, to provide more accurate and secure authentication methods. These are just
a few examples, and the potential uses for an AI-enabled iPhone are vast and continually
expanding as technology advances.
8. More than 1.3 billion Apple devices are in use worldwide. The company’s goal is to
achieve 100 percent renewable energy and to generate and source 4 gigawatts of new clean
energy by 2020. Dig deeper: What is the update on this initiative? Conduct some
exploratory research, and write a short essay or present a brief oral report on your findings.

According to the article “Apple commits to be 100 percent carbon neutral for its supply
chain and products by 2030”, on the official website of Apple Inc., Tim Cook has his plans for
the company’s sustainable future and emphasizes on the importance of sustainability for all other
businesses. Apple is working on complete eradication of its carbon footprint and for that, the
company is planning to reduce emissions by 75% and to develop carbon removal solutions for
the remaining 25%. The company very keenly follows these goals by formulating strategies that
involve low carbon product designs, efficiency in the processes, using renewable energy, and
contributing to environmental rehabilitation by partaking in campaigns such as reforestation. The
article also elaborates the steps taken by Apple contributing to environmental protection and
sustainable operations.
