 With the Information that I gathered regarding social work agencies, I can say that the social
programs in their respective setting have a wide scope and caters various client/s. These
agencies primarily aid individuals, families, groups and communities to enhance their individual
and collective well-being, as well as promote equity and opportunity in communities.
 Also, their goals are all set to discover difficulty, help the affected to do better for themselves
and then withdraw them from a situation that hinders their social functioning so that people can
then live their lives free from the difficulty.

 Lastly, I noticed that their programs differ from the nature of their agency. Some agencies
programs are part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, some are mandated by law and
others are community-based social service organization which is anchored from their set of
beliefs, behaviors, and norms.

2. Identify social welfare agencies/socio-civic movements which introduced group work in the
Philippines and are still operating in the Philippines today. Make a comparison of their programs and
services in the past from today? (TLM Social Work with Groups)
