Logo
The face of our company.

Ensuring standardization and trademark protection

The Fluke Biomedical logo is one of the our most valuable assets. It
distinguishes our products from the rest, and assures the customer
of their authenticity.
The Fluke Biomedical logo must be used only in its standardized
form. Under no circumstances is the logo to be
• translated;
• redrawn;

Seriously. Don’t mess with the logo.
Other fun logo facts:
The logo is a registered trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office for specific goods and services.
The registration symbol ® is part of the electronic logo file, and
should be used on each and every application of the logo.

The brand promise.
A tagline is used to add meaning to a brand, in addition to the overall
graphic design and content presented. It reinforces our core value to
customers, and adds context to our company image. In most instances,
the tagline will be used to close the selling message, at the bottom of the
document above the address block.

About the Fluke Biomedical wave.
Fluke Yellow is always to be the prominent color. However, since not all the products have a yellow cas-
ing we help support the brand color by adding a yellow wave to the marketing materials. Conversely, for
products with a yellow casing the wave will be blue.

When the product has a yellow case use the blue wave. When the product has a gray case use the yellow wave.

Layout
Layout structure
Grid construction.

Like the asymmetry of the Fluke logo in its associated

color field, the layout structure for collateral is also to be
asymmetrical.

• Page layouts are to be constructed of odd number col-

umns: 3, 5, 7, 9, etc. The minimum number of columns
is three.
• In general the page size will be 8.25 x 11 and will be
set up in 7 column grids.
• Top, bottom and side margins define the live area, and
may be variable in dimension based on trim require-
ments or hole drilling from the printer or publisher.
• One column of space should always be left open, some
photos may overlap this area.
• At least one field in a group must bleed off an edge or
dive into a gutter.
• A ny copy color field or image that touches the Fluke
Biomedical logotype color field must be of a contrasting
color. Copy fields can be yellow, but may not touch the
logotype.
• Color copy fields should not encircle and trap space.
