and recycling culture.
Ana: There are many ways to recycle. For example, we can use
color bins or color plastic bags to recycle garbage.
Carlos: Yes, I heard that we shouldn’t use plastic bags to buy
things. Instead of using plastic bottles, we should use
glass bottles.
Ana: We have different options to start recycling, but it needs
to start with us.
Carlos: Why don’t we call our friends and neighbors to have a
meeting and talk about it. We can try.
Ana: It’s a pity that there are only a few people who are
interested in recycling.

COMPREHENTION

1 / Read the followong text.

They are two friends who like recycling. They have seen that a few
people recycle. In their neighborhood there are a few recycle bins.
And people throw a lot of garbage in the street. Although we can
find plenty of information on the web, people are not interested in
reading about it. They are thinking about recycling plastic bottles
to be used in gardens, or for decorating at home. That’s the reason
they want to have a meeting with their friends and neighbors. They
are writing down some tips about recycling. Some of them are about
recycling paper, plastic, metal and glass in order to make decorations.
Also people can use cloth bags instead of plastic bags in markets or
supermarkets. Recycling is a good habit that each one of us needs to
practice.

II. / WRITING
