Congratulations on reaching another milestone of completing your graduate school degree from the university that
nurtures faith, transforms character and inspires service, the Philippine Christian University.

It is our great desire for you to have a memorable commencement exercises, and to ensure its success, please
be guided by the following:

GUIDELINES FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS

• Graduates must be at the PICC on March 27, 2022 strictly on the scheduled time in preparation for the
processional. Late comers will be seated at the back and will not be allowed to join the seating
arrangements.
➢ 5:00 AM (morning ceremony)
➢ 11:00 AM (afternoon ceremony)

• Please be informed that following programs will be joining the morning ceremony:
➢ Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)
➢ Master in Business Administration (MBA)
➢ Master of Arts in Education (MA.Ed.)
➢ Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA)

DRESS CODES

LADIES
• Formal Dress. Dress hemline should not be longer than the “toga”.
• Wear black closed shoes and black stockings. Keep hairstyle as simple as possible.
• Caps should be worn correctly; initially, tassel should be at the left.
• Light/Day make-up is encouraged

NOT ALLOWED
• Sandals/step-in
• Fancy or stylish hairdo
• Plunging necklines
• Pants/slacks
• Corsages should NOT be worn before or during the ceremonies.

GENTLEMEN
• Long-sleeve polo with white undershirt
• Preferably black slacks
• Black or dark-colored shoes
• Caps should be worn correctly, initially, tassel should be at the left.

NOT ALLOWED
• Denim pants
• Sandals, rubber shoes, sports shoes
• Earrings and streaked (colored) hair
• Corsages should NOT be worn before or during the ceremonies.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS

• Bring your PICC Entrance Tickets


• Tickets will be issued by the Registrar a week before the graduation
• No PICC Ticket, No Entry
• Admittance will strictly be on one-ticket per person
• PICC guards will inspect your bags upon entry for security purposes
• No weapons and pointed objects are allowed inside PICC
• Children below twelve (12) years old are prohibited to join in the ceremony
• Cellular phones and two-way radios must be switched off as these may interfere
with the sound system
• No taking of pictures inside PICC. Only authorized PCU photographer shall be
allowed to take pictures
• Giving of flowers, cards and gifts shall be allowed after the recessional only
• Smoking and eating are NOT allowed in the PICC Plenary Hall
• All graduates and guests are required to present their vaccination cards/certificates
upon entry to the PICC
• NO GRADUATES SHALL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PLENARY HALL until the end
of the ceremonies

graduation ceremonies.
