Instramurals 2023

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS


1. Candidates must be a bonafide student of Bagabag National Highschool and must come from their
respective unit/team.
2. Each unit/team must have 1 male and 1 female representative.
3. Unit/team leader must submit the names of the finalist on or before November 8, 2023.
4. Candidates must submit parent consent signed by parents allowing their child to join the pageant, the coach
and the unit/team leader.
5. The coaches in each unit will sign an agreement form that the candidates will not rent handlers, they are
allowed to rent clothes for sportswear attire & talent, the unit/team & coach will be the one to help their
candidate.
- 1 Coach 1 student for female Candidate
- 1 Coach 1 student for male Candidate
6. The following are the categories of the search for Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2023.
- god/goddess attire ( to be worn during Intro & Production number)
- Talent Portion
- Sportswear
- Q&A portion
(Picking of final 3 70% 30%)
- Top 3 Q & A
7. The following are the Minor Awards during the coronation.
a. Best in god attire
b. Best in goddess attire
c. Best in Sportswear
d. Best in Talent
e. Mr. & Ms. Wit
f. Mr. & Ms. Photogenic
g. People’s choice award
8. The following are the additional Special Awards
a. Best in Production number
b. Mr. and Ms. Congeniality
c. Mr. and Ms. Body Beautiful
d. Mr. and Ms. Close Up Smile
9. Winners will be determined according to the total rank of each candidate.
10. Parents of the Candidates or any relatives must be in the venue to watch and given an opportunity to award
whenever their child in an awardee.
11. Each candidate must submit filled up Official Entry form to the Search Committee on November 7, 2023.
12. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

CATEGORIES OF COMPETITION AND SCORING PERCENTAGE


a. god/goddess attire 20%
b. Sportswear 20%
c. Talent 30%
d. Q&A 30% TOTAL: 100%

TOP 3 SCORING PERCENTAGE


a. Accumulated points from the 1st round 70%
b. Q&A 30% TOTAL: 100%
GUIDELINES FOR MR. AND MS. CONGENIALITY
1. The Candidates must attend the practice regularly. The committee will monitor the attendance during practices.
2. The candidates must show respect to the administration, teachers, students, to the Search Committee, and most
of all to her/his co-candidate.
3. The selection for this award are as follows:
A. Voting among the candidate 50%
B. Attendance during practices 25%
C. Attitude 25% TOTAL: 100%
4. The decision of the committee is irrevocable and final.
GUIDELINES FOR BEST IN SPORTSWEAR ATTIRE
1. Candidates/team/unit should provide their sportswear attire.
2. No swimsuit or trunk is allowed. Motorcycle is not allowed. Props are optional.
3. Criteria for judging sportswear are as follows:
a. Choice of dress 30%
b. Stage deportment 30%
c. Carriage 20%
d. Beauty/looks 20% TOTAL: 100%

GUIDELINES FOR BEST IN GOD/GODDESS ATTIRE & INTRO


1. Candidate/team/unit should provide their god/goddess attire using creative fabric costume.
2. In god/goddesses attire, the unit color must be dominant.
3. The team/unit must help the candidate in designing and making of the god/goddess attire.
4. Criteria for judging are as follows:
a. Presentation---40%
Posture
Mannerism
Gesture
Confidence
b. Costume---40%
Costing
Creativity
Uniqueness
Resourcefulness
c. Verbal Ability---20%
Grammar

CRITERIA AND GUIDELINES FOR THE TALENT PORTION


1. The Candidate will be the only one to perform, no props men allowed.
a. Technical Ability (Timing of Movement, steps, vocal, intonation,
Diction, delivery, degree of difficulty) 35%
b. Stage Appearance (Appropriate Attire, Personality and Poise) 10%
c. Uniqueness of Talent (Creativity, Talent ability and Effectiveness) 25%
d. Overall Performance (Entertainment value) 30% TOTAL: 100%

CRITERIA FOR THE QUESTION AND ANSWER PORTION


e. Relevance 20%
f. Content 40%
g. Delivery 40% TOTAL: 100%
GUIDELINES FOR Mr. & Ms. CAMPUS PERSONALITY

1. On November 7, each unit will submit their photos wearing any attire they want. They must use their unit colors
in the pictorial.
Per candidate *1 whole body shot *1 waste up shot
2. On November 8 the committee will post the pictures on Youth Formation page and make people from Facebook
like the pictures.
3. The candidate who garnered the highest likes on the pictures will be declared as the winner.
4. A separate award for People’s Choice Award for female and People’s Choice Award for male.
5. The master of ceremony will then announce the winners on the event.
