the covetous crowns right here at this stage.

Ron: As the night fills with sheer excitement, we will soon find out who will be the worthy title

Ron: We're looking forward to an exciting evening which will culminate with the announcement of the first
ever Mr. and Ms. Union Tourism as they will serve as the role models for the students and the rest of
Unionistas.

Tin: It is sure a tough fight between our ___ beautiful and ____ handsome candidates. Tonight, it will be a
parade of poise, grace, beauty and the most important factor, wit. After all, it's beauty that captures our
attention but personality captures our hearts.

Ron: Yes! I can feel the tension right now. Of course, aside from judges, the audience will also have a big
participation in tonight’s competition. I am sure they will give their full support to their bets. Let us check
the supporters from Grade 7… Grade 7… Hep hep…

INTERMISSION NUMBER
Ron: Before we proceed, let us witness first our very own INDAK DANCE TROUPE as they perform
before us an astonishing intermission number. Let us welcome them with a resonating round of applause.

Tin: (Give thanks) Since our candidates are still taking their time, let us again be entertained by an
intermission coming from the teachers. Please help me welcome Ma’am Abegail Joan I. Retubis and Ma’am

Ron: (Give thanks) I guess our contestants are ready.

FESTIVAL COSTUME
Ron: The Philippines is home to many vibrant and colorful festivals that reflect the country’s rich history,
culture, and traditions. In fact, every town usually has their own annual celebrations devoted to their Patron
Saint. Due to the Spanish influence on Filipino's Catholic spirituality, most of these festivals are religious in
origin.

Tin: Others commemorate certain important events in history of the country. No matter what the original
meaning of the festival was, these days are usually marked with people garbed in elaborate costumes,
overflowing food and drinks, fluvial parades, processions, competitions, and many more. Here, our
candidates will highlight their chosen festival to promote our own identity.

Both: Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome our candidates in their Festival Costume.

Ron: At this moment, to give us a short break and to entertain us for tonight, let us all welcome onstage with

CROWNING OF MR. AND MS. CHARITY

Tin: At this juncture, let us give the first award for tonight’s event… the Mr. and Ms. Charity 2023.

Ron: Mr. and Ms. Charity is determined through the contestants’ donations before the pageant. The
canvassing started last May 12, and it ended on May 19, 2023. Whoever won the Mr. and Ms. Charity will
be automatically included in the top 5. (Pa check lang Sir)

Mr. and Ms. Congeniality- The Mr. and Ms. Congeniality is awarded to the friendliest and most
accommodating candidate of the group. The candidates were given the chance to vote among themselves
who they think deserves to win the award. Let us start with our gents. Our Mr. Congeniality is candidate #

Mr. and Ms. Photogenic Award is awarded to the candidate who register the best in picture. He/She is the
one who projects so well in the camera, much so that he/she might actually charm anyone just by his/her
picture. This award is also personally handpicked by our official photographer, who— during their
photoshoot—knows which candidate has best projected himself/herself in front of her lens. Our Mr.
Photogenic is candidate number _____. Our Ms. Photogenic is candidate number ______.
Mr. and Ms. Popularity- As we mentioned earlier, the judges are not the only ones having their bets for
tonight but especially the candidates’ supporters and the audience themselves. We had an online voting via
the official FB Page of Union NHS where the supporters of candidates reacted “heart” to show their support.

Ron: So now, we have reached to moment where we are to reveal our Top 5 candidates. After revealing our
Top 5, the remaining 5 candidates will undergo the Final Question and Answer portion, for us to determine
who goes home with the title of Mr. and Ms. Tourism 2023. So, here we have our Top 5 candidates in NO
PARTICULAR ORDER. Here are the Top 5 Male Candidates (Announce the winner one by one)

Tin: Congratulations my dear gentlemen for making it to the top 5. To the remaining male candidates, also,
our congratulations for making it this far. Thank you for joining the competition and you may proceed to the
backstage to give way to the ladies because at this point, we shall be revealing the top 5 among the female
candidates. (Announce the winner one by one)

Ron: There you have it ladies and gentlemen our ______ candidates are now down to 10. You are now one
step closer to winning the crown of Mr. and Ms. Union Tourism 2023. A round of applause for them.

INTERVIEW PORTION
Ron: We would like to remind everybody that at this point, all candidates’ previous scores have been erased.
Each of the contestant now enters the last moment of the competition with zero points. We shall be basing
the results from how well the candidates will perform the most daunting question and answer portion.

Tin: Let us start with the Male candidates. For the female candidates, you could proceed to the backstage.
In the q and a, you are going to choose a number from 1-5, each corresponds a question to be flashed on
screen. You will be given 1 minute to answer. When you hear this sound ______, that means time is up. 1
point will be deducted for every second exceeded.

Ron: The first candidate will choose the number and rest of the male candidates will answer the same
question. To avoid out hearing the query, the rest of the candidates will be put to an isolation room.

Tin: I think everything is set, so, let us start the interview.

AFTER INTERVIEW PORTION

Ron: Thank you candidates, you may now proceed to the backstage first and have a little breather. We are
mere minutes away from crowning our Mr. And Ms. Union Tourism 2023 and I know everyone is excited.

Tin: Indeed partner. After hearing the candidates’ answers, the judges are having a hard time selecting the
winner of the titles.

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE
Ron: While our official tabulator is auditing the result, we shall give the floor to our beloved Municipal
Mayor, Hon. Maria Fe T. Lasaleta, for her inspirational message. Let us give her a round of applause.

CERTIFICATE FOR SPEAKER

Tin: Thank you so much Mayor for your kind and inspiring message. In behalf of Union NHS, we are truly
grateful for the unyielding support you give to our school activities like this. And to show our boundless
appreciation, may I request Hon. Thadea Gay B. Jesalva, Punong Brgy. of Union to be assisted by Mr.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Tin: This event will be not successful as it is without the help of people who worked behind the scene. To

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Ron: I think the tabulating committee is already through with the auditing of scores. And the results are in.
We would like to request our Top 5 Male and Female Candidate to come on stage for the verdict. I would
like to inform everyone the titles at stake. We have the Second-runners up, First runners-up, Mr. and Ms.
Campus Personality, Mr. and Ms. Union NHS 2023 and the Mr. and Ms. Union Tourism 2023.

Tin: As we now have the results in our hands, we are now going to reveal our winners for tonight starting
with our second runners-up.

Ron: The next award is our first runners-up.

Tin: We now are down to our top 3. Let us now award our Mr. and Ms. Campus Personality.

Ron: We are now in the moment of truth. Two remaining candidates are left and one of them will be
crowned as the first ever Mr. and Ms. Union Tourism 2023. Let us not prolong the agony. The male and
