2. Function Description
2.1 Main Interface
Run the CPSc. The main interface will be displayed.

The interface consists of a menu bar, a navigation bar and a content area.

Menu Bar
In the menu bar, you can choose to read, write, create, import or export configuration, switch to another terminal, or change the language.

Navigation Bar
In the navigation bar, you can choose to view device information or set basic parameters, wireless settings, programmable keys and APN
settings.

Content Area
In the content area, you can see configuration items, which you may browse by scrolling the mouse or dragging the scrollbar up and down.

2.2 Connecting a PoC Terminal


1. Connect a PoC terminal to your PC using a USB cable, and wait about 3 seconds until the CPSc reads the terminal information. If the terminal
cannot be recognized, connect the both ends of the USB cable again.
2. The connection state is displayed on the right of the menu bar. If multiple terminals are connected at the same time, you may select one
terminal from the dropdown list.
There are two connection states.
- Connected: The terminal is in normal connection and communication with the PC.
- Disconnected: The terminal is disconnected from the PC. Disconnect the both ends of the USB cable, restart the terminal and connect it to the
PC again using the cable.

2.3 Device Information


After connecting a PoC terminal, the terminal information will be displayed.

Note:
The Bluetooth MAC address of the terminal is displayed only when Bluetooth is enabled on the CPSc or on the terminal.

2.4 Reading Configuration


To read the terminal parameters, click Read Configuration from the Menu bar. The following interface will be displayed.

2.5 Writing Configuration


The parameters in the above interface are modifiable only after the terminal configuration is read or new configuration is created.
Note:
Configuration items vary with terminal models.
Note:
For a W60, W65, T60 or T65 radio, the top-key settings take effect after the radio is restarted.

2.5.1 Writing a Setting

To write a single setting after modification, click to the right of the setting, and the progress and result will be displayed in a prompted

interface.

2.5.2 Writing a Batch of Settings


To write a batch of settings after modification, click Write Configuration from the menu bar.

: Writing in progress.

: Writing failed. The reason can be an unsupported terminal version, abnormal USB connection, or an unsupported setting by the terminal.

: Writing succeeded.

Note:
The prompted interface is scaled up and down when you resize the upper interface.

2.5.3 Writing in Settings on Multiple Terminals


You can write settings in multiple terminals at a time. In the above interface, choose Continual writing by ticking in the box.

: Writing once.

: Continual writing. After writing settings in a terminal, disconnect the terminal from the USB cable, and connect it to another terminal.

3. Wireless Settings

3.1 Wi-Fi Settings


To set a Wi-Fi network, first click Wireless Setting from the navigation bar, and then enable Wi-Fi in the prompted interface.

3.1.1 Presetting a Wi-Fi Network


In the above interface, click +.
Enter a Wi-Fi name and its password, click OK.

An entry is added.

Click to write in the setting.

3.1.2 Viewing Nearby/Saved Wi-Fi Networks


To view nearby or the saved Wi-Fi networks, click More in the above interface.
The following interface will be prompted.
Note:
This interface is scaled up and down when you resize the upper interface.
The Wi-Fi network lists are displayed only after Wi-Fi is enabled. To enable Wi-Fi, refer to 3.1 Wi-Fi Settings.

Saved Wi-Fi: You can connect to a saved Wi-Fi network, and retrieve or modify its password.
Nearby Wi-Fi: You can set a password for a nearby Wi-Fi network. The password can be empty or have at least 8 digits.

The lists are refreshed every 5 seconds.

3.2 Bluetooth Settings


To view nearby or the saved Bluetooth devices, click More in the interface.
The following interface will be prompted.
Note:
This interface is scaled up and down when you resize the upper interface.

The Bluetooth device lists are displayed only after Bluetooth is enabled.
The lists are refreshed every 5 seconds.

The information of a Bluetooth device is described as below.

In an entry of a Bluetooth device, for example, , the device name is in the first row, and the device MAC address in
the second row. Note the display depends on whether the device complies with a Bluetooth standard.

: Bluetooth earphone or hand microphone

: Computer

: Mobile device

: Other device

Paired Bluetooth: You can unpair a terminal from a Bluetooth device.


Nearby Bluetooth: You can pair a terminal with a Bluetooth device.

3.3 APN

3.3.1 Presetting an APN


Click APN from the navigation bar. The following interface will be displayed. Select SIM 1, enter an APN name, a user name and a password,
and click OK.

Click +. In the popup interface, enter an APN name, a user name and a password, and click OK.

Click to write in the setting.

3.3.2 Viewing APNs


To view all the APNs of the current SIM card, click More in the above interface. The following interface will be displayed.
