INDIGO CADET PILOT PROGRAM


L3Harris Airline Academy

IndiGo is the foremost low-cost airline operating out of India and


is working with L3Harris Airline Academy to bring you this Cadet
Pilot Program.
KEY
Selected by IndiGo from day one, you will embark upon a unique route of training.
Successful completion of training and the final checks by IndiGo will take you directly

to the role of Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, flying IndiGo domestic and

The following is designed to provide an example of your training footprint for IndiGo Cadet
Pilot Program; what you’ll be doing, how long for and where. > Letter of intent (LOI) from IndiGo
to employ prior to commencement
of training

DGCA Ground School India 3 months
Officer with IndiGo upon
CPL with Multi-Engine Add On Sanford, Florida 16 Months successful completion of training
Flight License Conversion India 1 Months > Training on the latest-generation
2 Months aircraft and simulators
DGCA A320 Type Rating USA or Thailand
> Dual license-USA FAA and Indian
DGCA CPL
> Training in a globally-recognized,
professional airline training
environment
ENTRY CRITERIA FINANCE AND FUNDING

To apply for the L3Harris Airline Academy IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program you must $128,000
meet the following requirements:
WHAT’S INCLUDED
> Must be between 18 and 31 years and 364 days at the point of application
> Equipment, uniform and training
> Fluent in English (verbal and written) materials
> Able to obtain and maintain Indian DGCA and FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate > DGCA ground school training (3
> No visible tatoors or body piercings examinations) including exam fees

> BMI range of 18 to 25 (normal weight category) > U.S. FAA CPL Program, including
exam and test fees
> Have a valid passport and the unrestricted right to live and work in India, with the
ability to travel unrestricted worldwide > Logistics support – including
> Pass all IndiGo referencing checks and L3Harris selection process accommodation, return flights and
visa fees for a U.S. study visa
> Must have access to the full funding required for this course*
> DGCA Flight license conversion

ACADEMIC ENTRY STANDARDS
> DGCA A320 Type Rating
Minimum Education Qualification: 10+2 with minimum score of 51% in each of the
following subjects: Physics, Maths, English > Logistics support – including
accommodation and return flights to
NOTE: Prior to your induction training with IndiGo you will be required to pass a drug test.
