1.Introduction
When a user needs access to the Citrix farm (SNOASIS), his/her user account needs to be
configured in a special way.

This document describes the settings to apply to the user account.

2.Settings of the user account


Locate the user account you want to configure and open its properties:

Go to the Terminal Services Profile tab and update the user profile and the TS home directory
fields:

The value for User Profile must be: %WTSProfilesShare%\pre-windows2000-user-account


The value for TS Home Directory must be the same as for the home folder on the Profile tab.,
i.e. Connect H: to fileserver.

Go to the Sessions tab and set the values for the timeout and reconnection parameters 1:

Go to the Member Of tab and add the group: CC2: CTXFarmUsers 3

Then, depending on the applications the user needs to access, add one or more of the following
groups 4 :

Group Grants access to


CC: CTX SAPFrontEnd620 SAP GUI v6.20
CC: CTX PortalInternetExplorer Internet Explorer (only for SAP Portal)
CC: CTX Oros OROS Preprod and Prod

The values shown here are the ones we advise you to use. You might be interested in putting other values
for these settings.

Replace CC by appropriate value (e.g. DE, UK, GCEUR, …)

This group grants access to the farm. If a user is member of this group only, he will not get access to any
application.
