The document provides a summary of the poem "Solitary Reaper" by William Wordsworth. It discusses how the poem was inspired by a village Wordsworth visited in Scotland. It then analyzes each stanza, explaining unfamiliar words and phrases, and how they contribute to the overall theme of a lonely girl singing sadly as she reaps crops alone in a field. The summary highlights how the poet compares her singing to that of a nightingale and cuckoo bird, and wonders what theme her song could be about.

Hello Everyone I once again welcome you all to my uTube channel

English Panisa so in today's video we are going to discuss Solitary

Reaper. It is a poem which is written by William Wwor So before
moving further let us know about the poet who is William Wsor so this
William Wors was an English romantic poet. Much of his poetry was
inspired by the dramatic landscape means. He's a poet of Nature and
he's. Most of the poets shows that Lake and District theme and his
work did much to alter public perception of that part of the England
now let's see the background of this poem Solitary Reaper first of all
let's see the title What is solitary Reaper so here solitary is nothing but
it means lonely or alone and Reaper means the one who cut the crop
so here Solitary Reaper. It is a title of this poem.NK] has given the
name to a girl lonely girl who was who is a farmer means who is
reaping the crop. So here Solitary Reaper is a romantic ballad now
What is the meaning of ballad here so now What is ballad here. Ballad
is nothing but it is a long song or a story in a form of poem. So here
we can't say that how long it will go it depend on the poet's Mood
that's called a ballad poem set in the ruler area. William Bord got the
inspiration to write the poem from a village in a Scotland that he
visited along with his sister in 18 Not3 Here you can see the pictures of
that Village, Scotland Village, so he got the inspiration from this
Village when he went along with his sister in 18. 3 Not 185 The
collection of his poems in two volumes now. This poem has been
divided into four stanzas Having Eight lines in each and it follows a
rhyming scheme of of a B AB C C and d d. So now let's see our
poem. The first answer as I told you. This poem contain four stanzas
now let's see our poem. The first stanza behold her single in the field
Y solitary H and loss reaping and singing by herself. Now first of all
let's see the meaning of these hard words. Then we'll see overall
meaning of these lines so here behold her is nothing but here poet is
asking to the passes by to look at her carefully means to gaze upon
her, who is single in the field now who is single in the field. Yon
solitary Highland L now what is Yan here Yan is nothing. But that that
solitary Means that alone now who is alone here alone is Highland
Lass. Highland Lass means that hilly G lass is nothing but G and
Highland means the hills. So this lass is nothing but girl so reaping
and singing by herself now what is the meaning of reaping here just
now In the title I explained you reaping is nothing but someone who cut
the crop so here poet is saying that one day while traveling he sees a
last means a girl far away on Highland, that is hilly area who was
alone there and she is reaping the crops and singing song by herself
now let's read the next line stop here or gently pass now here poet
asking to the passes by means those who are moving from that place
that he is asking them to stop there and listen to her song or gently
pass from There means here He is saying that gently move away
from his this place without disturbing to her now next line alone. She
cuts and binds the green and sings A Melan Strain now what is the
meaning of this melan strain Mean strain is nothing but a sad song so
what she's doing. She's alone. She's alone cutting and binding the
Grain and she is is also singing sad song Oh listen for the veale
profound is overflowing with the sound. Now what is the meaning of
this veale profound Veale profound is nothing but it is a deep valley.
So here the poet ask the passes by to listen to her as her song is so
melodious and S that whole valley means this Veil perform me the
whole valley is echoing with her song now let us read the second
stanza no n angle did ever chant. More welcome notes to very bands
Very bands of Travelers in some shaty hunt among Arabian Sands now
here. In the second stanza, the poet compares the voice of solitary
Reaper with that of night angle. You people may know that in romantic
poetry the sound of the night angle is described as very melodious and
welcoming before seeing the meaning of these lines first of all see
this what is Arabian sand here so the Arabian sand mentioned here in
this stanza is nothing but that is in Arab areas. There is a desert in
which it takes months for people to cross them many times they
forget the way or die because of the extreme heat and thirst so here in
such a desert if very bands means here this very bands is nothing but
it is a tire Travelers who may be taking rest under the Shady hunt now
here this Shady Hunt Is nothing but they are taking the rest under the
desert tree. So here they are means this very band tire track s are
happy to hear the ningle chanting it will be the most joyful voice for
them because they will come to know that it is the end of the dread
desert because they are near to their destination, so they are happy
to listen to The Nigh Angle voice but here poet is comparing to that
night. Angle's voice with a solitary Reaper and saying that is more
melodious and sweeter than that of night. Angle's voice which is
mentioned above the next line of a voice so thrilling near was heard in
springtime from the Cuckoo Bir breaking the Silence Of The Seas
among the farest HDs now here what is the meaning of this thrilling n
This meaning of this Thrilling n is nothing but the feeling of Joy
They're very happy to listen to Cuber which break the Silence Of The
Seas among the far HDs now what is the meaning of this hites hites is
nothing but it is a group of 500 Island in Scotland. So here as I told
you this poet means William Bpot he's comparing the singing of this
solitary Reaper with the voice of Kfat before he was comparing the
voice of solitary Reaper with the nigh Angle. Now here he is comparing
the voice of this solitary Reaper with a cucko but so here. According
to the poet, the voice of solitary Reaper was so melodious that he
never heard it from the cucko Bir in his Springtime again. According to
poet, the voice of solitary Reaper is better even that the sound of
cucko now here we know that the sound Very melodious, but here the
poet is comparing the solitary Reaper voice, which is better than that
the Cuckoo's bird voice so now let's read the third stanza will no one
tell me what she sings now Here poet asking the question that here
he is expressing his unfamiliarity with the language means the
language of Scotland of the song sung by the solitary re because he
doesn't know the language of that Scotland he wonder if there is
anyone who will able to tell me what she is singing. He wanted to know
that what the girl sings so that's why he's asking is there anyone who
will say me what she is singing perhaps the plenti number flows for all
and Happy far of things and battle long ago. Now here the poet
guessing that it might be plenty of numbers, so what is the meaning of
this #) PL plaintive numbers plaintive numbers is nothing but might be
She is singing a sad song again sad and mournful song in her own
language. She is singing in her own language, that of Scotland
language or it could be unhappy past or lost things or some battle
which might have taken place long ago. So here he is guessing that
what she is singing or it is some more humble lay familiar matter of
today Some natural sorrow loss or pain that has been and maybe
again poet again guessing that the song can also be about humble so
what is the meaning of this humble here Humble means that ordinary
nature and daytoday matter song or it could be a some natural sorrow
or loss or pain. This natural sorrow loss or pain That has been and
may be again means here which might have taken place in her life
recently or she might be fearing for facing it again that's why she is
singing a sad song now let's read the final stanza, which is the fourth
stanza, whatever the theme the maiden sang as if her song could have
no ending so here. What here is nothing but whatever whatever the
theme the maiden sang now. What is the meaning of this maiden
maiden is nothing but the unmarried woman the young girl so now In
this lines the poet says that whatever may be the theme what means
the song sung by the maiden means the young lady solitary Reaper.
Whatever theme is there It might be about the war or daytoday
activity song Natural song Whatever is there but here he wanted that
he wish here that it would never end because she sings very
melodiously and profoundly so he wanted that the song would never
end could have no ending means he want this song to be continue. I
saw her singing at her work and Ed the sickle bending now here or is
nothing but <span style="color: red">
