KENYA NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL
1.0 The Kenya National Examinations Council has appointed you to invigilate the 2023 November Business Examinations at
ELDORET TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE-LODWAR BRANCH examination centre from 13th November 2023 to 1st
December 2023 . You will be reimbursed travel expenses at a rate of Kshs. 460 per day inclusive of the briefing day.

2.0 As an invigilator you are responsible to the TSC Sub County Staffing Officer and the County Director TIVET. You will work under
the directions of the Centre Supervisor. The Council has delegated this duty to you and expects you to conduct examinations
according to KNEC regulations and instructions.

3.0 Your duties will include: -

3.1 briefing candidates before the start of examinations on rules governing the conduct of examinations;

3.2 handing over to Supervisors any question papers with printing errors;

3.3 identifying candidates against names on the attendance register/photo register;

3.4 recording of absentees on the documents provided by the Council;

3.5 distributing of stationery and examination question papers to candidates;

3.6 frisking of candidates each time they enter the examination room;

3.7 preventing examination irregularities and receiving evidence if any and submitting it to the Supervisor;

3.8 ensuring no unauthorized persons and/or lecturers have access to examination rooms or communicate to candidates;

3.9 collecting, counting and handing over candidates’ answer scripts to the supervisor after each examination.

4.0 Kindly familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations governing the conduct of KNEC examinations before the start of the
examination period.
