Dear UM TAGUM COLLEGE,

We are the students of Bachelor of Science in Criminology asking for


the permission to implement a security survey in ground floor, beside at tennis
court, to know the vulnerabilities and to set a solution for the problems we
hope for your kind consideration.

We conducted the survey on September 22, 2023. We survey at least


2 hours in ground floor, beside at tennis court classroom building.

B. NAME AND MISSION OF INSTALLATION ACTIVITY

DESCRIPTION OF SURVEY UNIT

MISSION

To determine the risks and hazards present in that particular ground-


floor building. All of the students and staff at these schools will become more
aware as a result from this survey. With the help of this survey, we hoped to
ensure the security of everyone. We want to make assured that everyone at
UNIVERSITY OF MINDANAO TAGUM COLLEGE is safe, and we wanted
the school to be aware of any problems so that they can be fixed.
C. PHYSICAL SECURITY
1. Perimeter Barriers
a. Some of the perimeter barriers have many different kinds of damage,
including cracks in the walls, flooring that are prone to flooding, and rusting
roofs.

b. They must continuously track and check the building's vulnerabilities to


ensure the safety of everyone within and to come up with a solution
immediately as is reasonable. Adjust the wall at least 30 meters (room 32)

2. Guard Force And Guard System


a. Guard’s are biased when it come’s to clothing system coz they're times that
student wear vulgar cloth but guards did not restrict them.

b. Guard’s should do there job properly and treat all student equal.

3. Protective Lighting

a. There are no functional lights because there were no emergency lights in


any of the rooms during the blackout.

b. They should repair it as soon as possible to secure the utilities and safety
of students/teachers, There must be a light for emergencies in every
classroom, particularly those that (room 32-43).

4. Alarms and Communication Systems

a. Fire Alarms Buttons are easy to reach and there are possibilities that
students will make fun of it.

b. They should discipline all students that fire alarms will be use in
emergency only. Student orientation, students decipline.

5. Utilities

a. Some of the utilities are damaged by students such as chairs, tables, and
doors. White board repair, always check the ceiling fan after class.

b. The Teachers/ Proctors should guide their students to be responsible to


their actions. always remind the students especially the junior high school
students.

6. Emergency Plans

a. The evacuation area’s are not wide, and if there is an earthquake and any
kinds of calamities, it will cause an accident because of the tight area. Expand
the space area in the

b. The cars that are parked in the areas of evacuation needed to be moved
considering this is one of the factors contributing to the overcrowded region.
In order to prevent crowding and accidents students who are close to the
gates should evacuate outside rather than going to the evacuation area.
