1. CLASSICAL DANCE

ORGANISERS : MATHEMATICS (SF)


VENUE : Manicka Vinayagar Open-Air theatre
NO.OF. PARTICIPANTS : One participant from each Department
RULES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS:

⮚ Performance should not exceed the time limit.

⮚ Performance and costume should be neat.

⮚ Judgment will be based on the performance, co-ordination and

costume.

DURATION: 5 minutes for each participant

TASKS FOR THE ORGANISERS:


✔ Lots should be allotted by the organizers.

✔ Students have to pick the lots 10 minutes before the commencement of the

event.

✔ When one lot is performing the next lot should be ready.

✔ The organizers should maintain discipline.

The organizers should start and finish the event within the scheduled time
limit.

2. CLASSICAL MUSIC

ORGANISERS : ECONOMICS
VENUE : I M.A. Music
NO.OF. PARTICIPANTS : One participant from each Department
RULES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS:

⮚ Performance should not exceed the time limits.

⮚ Cinema songs are not allowed.

⮚ Judgments will be based on tala , laya, shruthi and presentation.


⮚ Only shruthi box is allowed.

DURATION: 4 minutes for each participant

TASKS FOR THE ORGANISERS:

✔ Lots should be allotted by the organizers.

✔ Students have to pick the lots 10 minutes before the commencement of the

event.

✔ When one lot is performing the next lot should be ready.

✔ The organizers should maintain discipline.

The organizers should start and finish the event within the scheduled time
limit.

3. EXTEMPORE IN TAMIL

ORGANISERS : COMMERCE (AIDED)


VENUE : II B.A. History
NO.OF. PARTICIPANTS : One participant from each Department
RULES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS:
⮚ Topic will be given to the participants 10 MINUTES before the

commencement of the event.

⮚ Judgment will be based on the content, pronunciation and time

management.

DURATION: 3 minutes for each participant

TASKS FOR THE ORGANISERS:

✔ Lots should be allotted by the organizers.

✔ Students have to pick the lots 10 minutes before the commencement of the

event.

✔ When one lot is performing the next lot should be ready.

✔ Topics have to be informed before the commencement of the event with

commencement of the event.

⮚ Judgment will be based on the content, pronunciation and time

⮚ Participants must report on time.

⮚ Judgement will be based on creativity and designing.

⮚ Participants should do mehandi for their own hand (one hand).

⮚ No helper shall be allowed.

DURATION: 45 MINUTES

✔ Students have to pick the lots 10 minutes before the commencement of the

event.

✔ When one lot is performing the next lot should be ready.

✔ The organizers should maintain discipline.

The organizers should start and finish the event within the scheduled time

10. NAIL ART

ORGANISERS : COMMERCE (SF)


VENUE : III B.Sc Physics
NO.OF. PARTICIPANTS : One participant from each Department
RULES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS:

⮚ Performance should not exceed the time limit.

⮚ Participants must report on time.

⮚ Judgment will be based on creativity and designing.

⮚ Participants should do nail art for their own hand (one hand).
⮚ No helper shall be allowed.

DURATION: 45 MINUTES

11. Elocution in hindi

ORGANISERS : NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

⮚ Topic will be given to the participants one day before the

commencement of the event.

⮚ Judgment will be based on the content, pronunciation and time

management.

✔ Students have to pick the lots 10 minutes before the commencement of the

event.

✔ When one lot is performing the next lot should be ready.

13. Ms. SRC


The event comprises three rounds.

ROUND 1(Prelims) – General knowledge questions (50 questions in 50 minutes)

The first 12 students will be selected for Round 2.

ROUND 2 – Group discussion

Topic for group discussion will be given one day before the commencement of the
round.

FINAL ROUND – Extempore (5 minutes speech) and Rapid fire.

The final round comprises Extempore and Rapid fire. The decision of the judges is
final.
