Team Formation

1. To form a team, the team lead must first complete registration and then create the team by naming it and selecting roles for members from a dropdown menu. 2. Existing members can join other teams if there is an open position that matches their expertise. They search for teams, find an open role, send a request to the team lead explaining their interest, and wait for the lead to approve their request. 3. Team members can only belong to one team and must fill open roles by sending requests to team leads for approval.

Steps to form Team

Pre-requisite: All members should complete registration.

1. Team Lead will create a team


a. name it (CIC India FSS Westpac_<team name>)
b. Team Lead selects the roles from drop down (Developer, Architect etc) (If Team Lead
wants to tag 3 members as Developers, he/she need to select 3 drop downs as
Developer)

Join an existing team


A participant can join an existing team if there is a position open in a team that aligns with
their expertise and prompt category. Note: Participants can only be part of one team. To join
an existing team:

1. Open the My Team page.


2. Click on the Join a Team tab.
3. Find a team that you would like to join. You can search by team name if you know
the name of a team, or filter (on the left) based on the positions a team is looking for.
4. Click on the plus icon for the open position you would like to fill on the team.
5. Enter a brief message to the Team Leader about yourself and why you’d like to
join, and click the Submit request button.
6. After submitting the request, the Team Leader of that team can review your request to
join the team. Note they will only see that request on this platform, so you may need
to reach out to them separately to ask them to log in and review your request. Once
they accept your request, you will be added as a member of that team.
