1 M: I give up! I’ll never learn the past tense of these verbs. 10

T: That’s easy. Just add ed to make the past tense.

2 M: I mean the irregular verbs. You have to learn them by heart. The past of go is 10
went. It’s crazy!

T: Why don’t you sleep with the grammar book under your pillow? Maybe that
will help.
3 M: Don’t make fun of me. This is serious. We’re going to have a test next week. 10

T: I’m sorry. I’ll help you brush up on those verbs.

4 Elizabeth: Would you drop this dress off at the dry cleaner for me? 10

Matthew: Okay, but it’s a little out of my way. Can I do it tomorrow?

5 EMMA: It’s a pleasure to meet you, professor. Thank you so 10
much for helping us.

PROFESSOR AUSTIN: Don’t mention it. Hopefully, I will be able to answer your
questions!

phenomenon quite unlike anything else.
7 Hallyu, colloquially known as the Korean culture wave, is truly a force to be 10
reckoned with.
8 While the emergence of "true" K-pop can arguably be traced back to acts that 10
debuted ahead of the '90s, it wasn't until the debut of one particular group that
the genre as we know it officially blossomed into existence: the veritable kings of
K-pop, Seo Taiji and Boys.
9 Seo Taiji and Boys' implementation of hip hop and new jack swing marked a 10
turning point in the genre for their willingness to break tradition.
10 Copycats began streaming in, all borne of the entertainment industry's desire to 10
churn out the Next Big Thing – and what would ultimately be refined into the "idol
culture" we know today.

T: Itu gampang, cukup tambahkan ed untuk membuat bentuk lampau.

grup yang memulai debut mereka sebelum tahun 90-an, namun baru setelah debut satu grup
tertentu, genre yang kita kenal sekarang ini secara resmi berkembang menjadi sebuah
