12 (a) Both toy car A and toy car B start moving towards each other simultaneously from point X and
point Y respectively. The distance between point X and point Y is 10 m. The toy car A moves 80
cm in the first minute, 75 cm in the second minute, 70 cm in the third minute and so on in the
subsequent minutes. The toy car B moves d cm in the first minute and its distance reduces 2 cm
for every subsequent minute. Both toy cars stop at the nth minute. Find

Kereta mainan A dan kereta mainan B masing-masing bergerak serentak dari titik X dan titik Y
menghadap ke arah satu sama lain. Jarak di antara titik X dan titik Y ialah 10 m. Kereta
mainan A bergerak 80 cm pada minit yang pertama, 75 cm pada minit yang kedua, 70 cm pada
minit yang ketiga dan seterusnya pada minit-minit yang berikut. Kereta mainan B pula

RM240 000. The net profit of the company increases 12% every year.

ialah RM240 000. Keuntungan bersih syarikat itu meningkat 12% setiap tahun.

(i) Calculate the total net profit of the company from the year 2016 to the year 2021.
