What are the tools, supplies needed in foots spa?

“Dr. Kwak Kwak Please Come In”
- The teacher will show a picture of foot and nail and
students will act as a doctor and observe the picture. They
will write down their observations regarding to the condition
of the foot and nails within 3 minutes.

B. Developmental Activities

Gallery Walk Presentation of foot nails conditions (ICT-
Integration/Collaborative)
Group students into five (5).
Ask the learner to do the following:

1. Each group will assign in different station.


2. Each group will write their observations on the pictures
posted in each station.
3. The groups then proceed to the next station until they are
all done with all the stations.
4. Each group will discuss their observation, give
recommendations on how to improve the conditions of the foot
and nails and write their answers in the activity sheet provided.

 Brittle- delicate and easily broken.
 Ridges- visible lines or dents in your fingernails or toenails
 Corns- a small nodule of very hard 'corneum' skin tissue
grows in the gutter of skin alongside the nail.
 Bunions- a bony bump that forms on the joint at the base
of your big toe.
 Inflamed- when the skin around the nail is irritated or
injured.
 Flakes- is a small thin piece of something.
 Hammer toe- The joints of the toe are bent, resembling a
hammer.

Instruction: Each learner will roam around the room then she will check and analyze at
least 3 of her classmate’s foot and nails conditions then give advice on how they can
maintain it healthy. In 10 minutes. Each learner will record their analysis using the
checklist provided. They will be given 10 minutes to do the task.
