1 -BLACK SCREEN-

MAYA
Do you ever get the feeling that you’re being followed?

EXT.STREETS-DIMMED LIGHTING
Maya walking down the streets clearly tense. (camera angle-
Behind the shoulder shot) Maya turns to the unknown figure.

INT/EXT.CAFE- PRESENT DAY

Maya a 16-year-old looking towards Noah, one of her only
friends. Maya looking towards Noah awaiting his answer, her
body tense. Noah looks at Maya as if she was insane.

NOAH
(not sounding convinced) You think someone is following you?

(camera angle-over the shoulder shot) Maya looks around as if

she feels that someone is out to get her, hands fidgeting on
the table when looking back towards Noah as she leans slightly
forwards.

MAYA
A woman… everywhere I go she’s there staring.

NOAH
I think you’re just stressed and probably from the lack of
sleep you’re getting because of your insomnia.

(camera facing Maya now) Maya looks down at her laps with a
tired expression.
NOAH
Go home, gets some rest

Maya
(nods her head) yeah, maybe

Maya leans back in her seat looking down at the floor while
Noah reaches for his drink and takes a sip

2 INT.BATHROOM. -DAY
Maya walks into frame, walking towards the mirror looking
frustrated and fed up. She stares into the mirror (camera
angle- medium shot) Maya stares into the camera as if it was
the mirror moving her head side to side while touching her
face, Now looking down. (camera angle- medium shot) Maya
looking at her medication as she slowly reaches for it.
(camera angle-close up) Of the medicine (3 second shot).

Maya opens her medication and looks back up to the mirror, the
figure is now her reflection in the mirror staring with
expression. Maya drops her medication (close up shot of the
medication falling) As she stumbles back looking in shock.
Voices start to creep in becoming louder.

(Camera pans back to mirror) Mayas reflection slowly walking

back towards the mirror with a confused look on her face.

Her hands on her head as she takes a deep breath.

INT.KITCHEN.DAY

(long shot) Maya grabbing a glass and placing it down on the

counter, grabbing a drink to pour. Maya picks up the drink and
starts to walk towards the living room. She walks towards the
sofa. (camera facing the sofa) She takes a seat in the middle
while placing down her drink, leaning back into the sofa.

(camera slowly moves toward Maya) the voices become audible

again, as she looks around paranoid. She turns to the back
door revealing the figure outside, she walks towards the door
swiftly opening it and going outside.

Maya spins her head around trying to find the figure (camera
spins in opposite direction) the scene continues to cut
between spins to make it dramatic.

Maya stops and faces the figure, camera now facing the figure
as it turns around looking scared

Reia
(shouts) you’re not real!

Maya stares shocked with glossy eyes slightly widened. Camera

facing Reia as she stands away from the hallucination looking
at her confused.

3 FLASH BACKS TO CAFÉ SCENE

Reia is sat across from Noah looking paranoid, there leg

bouncing uncontrollably. Reia leans forwards slightly looking
around making sure no one can hear.

REIA
There’s this woman that… keeps following me everywhere I go.

Noah falls back silently into his chair staring at Reia.

END OF FLASHBACK-

(camera starts to tilt) Maya still frozen in place, her eyes

Batting.

FLASHBACK TO REIA WALKING-

Reia walking down the street looking back at Maya but

continues walking
REIA (VOICE OVER)
Stop following me!
FLASHBACK TO MIRROR-
Reia starting into the mirror only to see Maya being her
reflection

END OF FLASHBACK-
(full body shot) Maya looking down at their hands as they
start to fade away, before they disappear they look back
up at Reia.

INT.LIVINGROOM-DIMMED LIGHTING
Reia goes back to the living room sitting at the end of the
sofa looking exhausted. The background starts to change as she
hears the voices but looks unfazed by them. Reia closes her
eyes taking the negative thoughts in.

Reia opens her eyes when silence interrupted the voices.

The camera being a p.o.v of Reia’s new location

INT.STUDIO-BRIGHT LIGHT
Reia is sat on a new sofa in a different location, One source
of light slightly blinding them causing them to squint their
eyes.

Confused, Reia stands up from the sofa slowly while looking

around, the camera act as their eyes looking for the voices
that suddenly appeared again. Reia falls back to the sofa
completely done with everything.
4 INT.STUDIO-BRIGHT LIGHT

REIA (second version)

Honestly, you’re pathetic

Reia turn in the direction of the voice only to see that

herself has said that. Reia stares at herself in shock as the
other version looks forwards, calm and composed. (camera only
facing The second Reia) The light a crimson red shinning on
Reia’s voice that takes a physically form.

REIA (s.v)

You’re insane and no one likes you because of it

Camera facing Reia with a yellow-ish, golden lighting shinning

on her
REIA
(quietly) it’s not true.

REIA (s.v)
We both know that’s not true.

Red light on one side of Reia with yellow light on the other
side as she stares at nothing, the voices repeating
themselves. The word pathetic overlapping one another.

Maya sits next to Reia calmly as Reia has her hand on her
knees shacking.

MAYA
(softly) you don’t have to listen to them you know

Reia looks towards the hallucination

MAYA
The voices, that is.
Reia looks away from Maya, the voices fading away as she takes
a deep breath in.

-BLACK SCREEN-

3 weeks later
INT.THERAPY ROOM-DAY

Reia waiting to be called in by the therapist anxiously. Caden

call Reia’s name to come in.

Reia sitting across from Therapist Caden, the room soft light
and Reia seeming more confident in herself.

CADEN
So, after the mental specialist have reviewed
your symptoms

Camera facing Reia as leaning forward, Camera slowly zooming

in.

CADEN
They believe that you are schizophrenic

Reia now leaning in their seat more relaxed and relieved.

CADEN
Now it’s not an official diagnosis and we still need to go
through a lot more questions to be certain.

REIA
Of course, yeah, it’s just nice to know that I’m not fully
insane.

CADEN
If you don’t mind me asking, do you still see Maya

REIA
She’s appears once in a while

Conversation and film starts to fade out, Push back from Reia
and Caden. Screen now fully black

Credits roll.
