GENERAL GUIDELINES

A. The SK Pala-o 3vs3 Basketball Tournament 2022 is open to all bonafide residents of Barangay
Pala-o by birth or based on the updated registry of inhabitants of the barangay.
B. Each purok is given a maximum of 3 teams with a maximum of 5 players per team excluding the
coach.
C. Players not residing in Brgy. Pala-o are not allowed to play, teams filling ineligible players will be
suspended for two years if this management manages still the same.
D. Players who played or participated in other barangays during the LNK: PASIGARBO 2022, are
not allowed to join the tournament.
E. Registration forms will be available in Brgy. Pala-o SK office on December 15, 2022.
Registration must include a 2x2 picture, full name, address and signature of players. Deadline
will be on December 20, 2022 up until 5:00 PM only.
NOTE: LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
F. Birth certificate/ Identification Card with birthdate, Purok Clearance, and Brgy. Residency must
be submitted together with the registration form. Vaccine cards are not acceptable as a proof of
birthdate.
G. These are only the allowed MERGING puroks:
Purok 2 &3
Purok 4 & 5
Purok 13A & 13
Purok 14A & 14
Purok 17, 18 & 19
H. No requirements, No play Policy
GAME FORMAT

I. The Pala-o Basketball League will be a Round-Robin tournament.


J. Age bracket will be as follows:
1. 31 years old and above (Senior Division)
2. 19 years old up to 30 years old (Junior Division)
3. 18 years old and under (Midget Division).

HOUSE RULES
K. Players must wear sports uniforms, shorts with pockets are not allowed. Players must wear
Jersey shirts with numbers.
L. No player is allowed to play when he is under the influence of illegal substances and liquor.
M. Passarelle will no longer be implemented during the tournament.
N. Head coach is the only authorized person to stand in front of the team bench during play.
O. There will be no watcher inside the court. Non-players are not allowed to enter the court
premises.
P. Teams who did not show up during the scheduled game will be default.
NOTE: Teams not following the set rules will be given a TECHNICAL FOUL .

PROTEST
Q. Before each game begins, the head coach will be given a chance to look at the gallery from
each team. Should there be any objection; a written protest signed by the head coach must be
submitted. The committee will entertain protests during the whole tournament.
