DBW: Basal Needs:

● 157.48 - 100 ● 1 x 51.73 x 24
● 57.48- (57.48 x .10) ● 51.73 x 24
= 51.73 kg = 1241.52 kcal

Physical Activities: 70% or .70 TEA:

● 1241.52 x .70 ● 1241.52 + 869.064
= 869.064 kcal = 2110.584 kcal

Distribute Total Energy Allowance: Number of Grams

● CHO = 65% ● CHO = 4 kcal/g
● CHON = 15% ● CHON = 4 kcal/g
● FATS = 20% ● FATS = 9 kcal/g

● CHO = 2110.584 x .65 ● CHO = 1350 /4

= 1371.8796 or 1350 kcal = 337.5 or 340 g
● CHON = 2110.584 x .15 ● CHON = 300 /4
= 316.5876 or 300 kcal = 75 g
● FATS = 2110.584 x .20 ● FATS = 400 /9
= 422.1168 or 400 kcal = 44.44 or 45 g
