Hypertexts and hyperlinks are the “glue” that holds the web together.
This feature allows electronic files on the web to be linked so you can jump from
one website to another website.

Hypertext is a text or phrase that links to another text on the website. It

is purely text in nature. Whenever you click on a hypertext, it always connects
to a related information.

Meanwhile, hyperlink is a link that redirects you to other web pages. It

could be redirected to URL (Universal Resource Locator) to which a hypertext
directs you to access. Hyperlinks simply make it easy for you to navigate
between web pages. Unlike hypertext, it involves media, audio, video, images,
and graphics. Also, the directed link could contain some unrelated information.

6
Hypertext and hyperlinks usually appear in a different color from the rest
of the text and often underlined. When you move your cursor over a text link or
over a graphic link, the cursor changes from an arrow to a hand.
