Fee Management System

Introduction

The “Fee Management System” will be developed to override the problems


prevailing in the manual system. This web application will support to eliminate and, in
some cases, reduce the hardships faced by this existing system. Moreover, this system will
design for the particular needs of the company to carry out operations in a smooth and
effective manner.

Existing System

The existing system is paper based in small as well as medium colleges or schools.
Even though the paper work and man power requirement is less, the existing system is not
very economical for colleges and schools. Relevant and irrelevant information are entered
and stored in the same place, which is very clumsy and untidy process, the information is
fully hand written so it can be error-prone.

In case of big organizations, the existing system is computerized to some extent, but it
is not fully automated to cover all the aspects of the supermarket. The data entry, storing and
retrieval procedure is very inefficient. Further there are chances of data misplacement and
wrong data entry.

 Details are stored in Papers.

 Maintenance is a huge problem.

 Updation, changes in details is a tedious task.

 Performance is not achieved up to the requirements.


To avoid all these limitations and make the working more accurately the system needs to be

computerized.

Proposed System

In the Previous System, Details are Stored Manually in papers, to share the details
between student’s fees with their course was a Financial drawback. Updating in the details is
a tedious task.

The main objective of the project Fee management system is to manage the details of
student’s fees with their course. It manages all the information about student, fees, the project
is totally built at administrative end thus only administrative is guaranteed the access. The
purpose of the project is built to an application program to reduce the manual work for
managing the students, courses and fees report. It tracks all the details about the student and
fee report.

Functionalities provided by Fee Management System are as follows:

 Provides the searching facilities based on various factors, such as student fees.
 It tracks all the information of Course and fee report etc.
 Manage the information of Student’s Fees.
 Shows the information and description of the Student and Fees.
 To increase efficiency of managing the Student, and their respective Fees.

 Monitor: 15.6 – inch FHD laptop
 Keyboard: Normal or Multimedia

 Operating System: Microsoft


 Front End: HTML 5, CSS 3 and BOOTSTRAP 4.
 Back End: Java Server Pages (JSP).
 Database: MYSQL
