The listed kind of labels in the given link are labels that are given as an award to companies
that involve in the activity of protecting and safeguarding the biodiversity. These labels are
genuinely important since information is provided to consumers regarding the product
which they are purchasing weather it is produced in the way protecting the natural
enviroment or not. Those labels listed are trusted and trustworthy according to the Earth
Institute of Colombia University includes; LIFE Institute, Japanese Agricultural Organic
Standard (JAS), International Organic and Natural Cosmetics Corporation BDIH Standard,
etc.
There are several ways that my consumer purchasing behavior can affect the biodiversity.
Since in the free-market era demand and supply are the main key factors that affect
production of a given company product. If I have the information regarding the production
habit of the companies related to biodiversity it has direct relation with my purchasing
decision. If the company has good culture and goodwill regarding their production system
in relation to the biodiversity it will best for them since they will have loyal and additional
customers for their products. Companies that give more concern to environmental
diversity will be my first and most choice to buy products.
