Setup
1. Ensure that the mobile or demountable work equipment designed for lifting loads is firmly and
stably installed and used in all the intended use conditions, also taking into account the ground
properties.
Use
2. Ensure that the equipment is used only by qualified personnel assigned to use that equipment.
3. No work will be done with the defective and damaged machine. Ensure that it is repaired.
4. All audible and visual warning systems of mobile machinery will be operational.
5. Load work platforms complying with their specified capacity.
6. If there are outriggers, they must be opened definitely before the platform is raised.
7. According to the ground characteristics, use crawler legs and wedge mats that distribute the
load.(1)
8. Equip the equipment with an audible and flashing light warning system that will be activated
automatically before starting the equipment. (2)
9. Before starting work, make sure that there are guardrails and other security systems on the platform
that prevent falling from height. (3)

10. Make sure that the voltage of the electric line passing through the area of use of the equipment is
cut. If this is not possible, ensure that equipment is kept away from the power line with barriers or
warning signs.
11. Strictly, while working and / or in stationary equipment, the maximum approach distance accepted
for conductors under voltage will not be exceeded according to Article 5 of TEIAS
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REGULATION.
If the voltage on the line is unknown, stay at least 4.5 meters away.

12. Protect the equipment's control systems from the possibility of causing a dangerous situation as a
result of damage and breakage.
13. Avoid using the equipment on slopes.
14. Fasten the safety belt at the specified place if it is available, or at a suitable place.

15. Certainly, the wheels of the platform will not be moved when the platform is raised. The platform
can be moved only after it is lowered to minimum height.
16. Nobody will be under the platform against the danger of material falling. In fact, the work area
even will be surrounded if necessary.
17. Periodic inspections and maintenance of all work machines shall be done periodically.
18. Be sure to follow the construction site rules, instructions as well as work health and safety and
environmental rules described in the training.
19. Select elevating work platforms according to your work and in accordance with the necessary
security measures.
