while size can be determined based on factors like revenue, employee number, or

market share.
4. Types of Business Organization

Includes various structures like sole proprietorship (single owner), partnership


(shared

ownership), corporation (separate legal entity with shareholder ownership), and LLC

(limited liability and flexible tax options).


5. Business Objectives and Stakeholder Objectives

Business objectives focus on company goals like profitability and growth, while

stakeholder objectives concern the goals of involved parties (such as employees,

suppliers, and customers), which might include job security, ethical practices, and

quality assurance.
6. Motivating workers

Why people work and what motivation means, The benefits of a well-motivated

workforce: labour productivity, reduced absenteeism and labour turnover, The concept

of human needs, e.g. Maslow’s hierarchy, Key motivational theories: Taylor and
